Read an article recently that the Comedy Clubs which were all over the country not 15 years ago are dwindling to a precious few. Pretty soon, they’ll be as rare as Drive-In Movies!

Who is this “Kathy Griffin” person and why should I care?
Somewhere in the 1980s....you could look around at various comedians who were one-act ‘ponies’ and realized that after eight years, they had no real progressing act, and they went from Johnny Carson appearances and TV shows...to an occasional lounge act in Vegas. I think KG hit that point about a decade ago (in her late 40s). Eddie Murphy hit that point, and at least found some acting skills....to move on. But Griffin has virtually no other skills.
Before everyone allowed this kind of stuff... she’d be out of work and out of friends... or she’d know better than to talk like that.
I have a thing about respect!!! And one thing that is missing in today’s youth and culture, is RESPECT! My kids are grown adults, but when they were kids, if they tried sass even once, it was the last. You can raise kids to be decent.. so why is all this bad mouthing going on in adults and children.. adults who did not grow up inside.
It’s time for a few suits... if these rude people feel they can do this to the position of the President and the First Lady.. if they feel they can insult at will... yake them to court... make it cost them something. We’ve ignored it to death and it’s still goiong on.
I remember when Carole Barnett sued a paper... she was told she could not.. she was told she’d lose.. but she went ahead and it took a long time.. but she won. it does have an effect on those who feel free to do this to another person. Doesn’t matter the positon or what others say can’t be done.. make it cost them something. It’s gotten worse and worse since obama hit the scene and all the criminals who have been running the store without all of our knowledge. We know now, and they are mad... taking it out in any fashion they deem easy.
If you’re young, this may not seem so bad... if you’re old enough to remember when it was not acceptable behavior... it doesn’t fit even today.
Too bad TDS isn’t fatal....
