President Trump will reportedly meet with the entire Republican caucus on Capitol Hill Tuesday to push the caucus toward passing two immigration bills in the coming days.
A House leadership aide confirmed to the Washington Examiner the meeting will take place at 5:30 Tuesday evening and comes on the heels of a tumultuous end of the week for the White House's messaging on immigration reform.
The official House schedule for next week lists immigration votes as possible, but not definite.

Yup....I’m not panicking about this. Besides....he’s going to get an earful from the base about this.
A wall was funded under Bush and it wasn’t built. They’re going to pass amnesty first and never build the wall. Remember Chuck Schumer said about Trump with the spending bill, “he gave us more than Obama.”
His 4 pillars were wall, chain migration, lottery, and ???
He’s been committed to the wall since the say he began his campaign. I can’t see him that doesn’t fund the wall.
The Wall is in both versions...$25 Billion
President Trump has never sold out over The Wall.
You, on the other hand, seem ready to sell him out at the slightest hint of bad weather.
Get lost, he deserves better than you.
The wall has already been started and some built as well. here’s $25 Billion in the bill. Both of them..
So if the wall IS being built now...and the money for it in both bills what are you questioning?
I didn’t see amnesty in either bill. None here have seen the bill or they wouldn’t be getting their pants in a knot.
Have YOU seen the bills...either of them? Where did you learn there was total amnesty?
It’s ONLY people here on FR calling the bill amnesty....all I’ve read there’s no amnesty being presented in either bill.
Like I said — we should hold our fire until we see the details. Having said that ... there is plenty of reason to be skeptical about any immigration bill coming out of Congress. Based on their track record it can’t be good. In fact there is no reason for an immigration bill — there are enough laws on the books now. Just fund the wall.
It's embarrassing after all that was fought to get our President elected and see all he's delivered on and more to hear these rumblings when they haven't seen the bills! I hate the fact I have to be careful about the threads I post because of the knee jerk reactions that happen without any solutions offered....and then some even doggy pile like children.

That is repair of the parts of the wall that are already built. The $1.3 trillion dollar omnibus bill blocked any new wall from being built.
I’mi not skeptical because I know what Trumps agenda is and he’s not deviated from that....if he can’t get what he wants, he finds another way or he pulls back to wait another day to fight it. Additionally he has an uncanny way of positioning the hold outs where he wants them and leverage he wants to get the job done.
It’s been reported that if either of these bills HE FINDS don’t give him what he wants then he just won’t sign. I do not have over inflated ‘expectations’ as to pass any bill there will always be some degree of compromise.
Legal status should be contingent on doing something helpful (Perhaps testifying against the drug smugglers and the coyotes. )
Well of course it’s for securing and restoring damaged and weakened areas already there. You do not connect new material to that and expect it to hold for years. You’re just defeating the purpose of the new structure. The money has been alloted for that and more.
visa’s
That is the strategy. If they kill the 4 pillars, Senate Rats will get hammered by Trump for obstructionism. They may lose even more than 4-5 seats.
“I do not have over inflated expectations as to pass any bill there will always be some degree of compromise.”
Yes I agree fully. Therein lies the problem.
As I see it’s the same issue of Daca....all three parties are using it as a football...Gope, Conservatives, and Dems. It’s the thorn in the side of everything and they’re using it exactly for the reason to stall and not do what they know the people want to seen done.

It hasn’t been allocated for more than that.
