President Trump will reportedly meet with the entire Republican caucus on Capitol Hill Tuesday to push the caucus toward passing two immigration bills in the coming days.
A House leadership aide confirmed to the Washington Examiner the meeting will take place at 5:30 Tuesday evening and comes on the heels of a tumultuous end of the week for the White House's messaging on immigration reform.
The official House schedule for next week lists immigration votes as possible, but not definite.

Rush was pointing out yesterday that the people REALLY PUSHING this Amnesty are the Republicans who are about to retire, at the behest of the big-game donors.

MOST likely, the President, Donald J. Trump, is showing up to lay down the law that anything without his four pillars included, is utterly toast.

Trump is betting Senate Dems will filibuster either bill. Makes me nervous that the Dems might pull a switcheroo and vote yes on the Ryan bill, but I’ve learned to trust Trump.
He’s trying to save the house by letting the squishy moderates vote for the Ryan bill. Maybe he’s willing to turn around and veto the Ryan bill if it unexpectedly makes it through the Senate.
Remember that televised cabinet meeting when Trump said he’d support some immigration plan or the other that Ann Coulter and most everybody here hated? Next day he repudiated his clear statement of support. Drove media/Dems nuts.

It’s a good bet the Democrats will kill the bill. Trump can then go to the public & say that they don’t want to fix immigration.
We shall see. Tuesday is a long time in politics.
Will Trump cave in / compromise on amnesty in order to achieve his other objections? Perhaps ... but hold your fire because he seems to know what he is doing. Art of the deal.
Please note that Trump can end DACA any time he wants to with this two sentence Executive Order...

An Executive Order that seeks to enforce the exact language of a federal statute cannot be challenged in federal court.
Only the federal statute itself can be challenged as unconstitutional. Since this statute is more than 50 years old, Trump can still enforce the law, exactly as written, until the Supreme Court declares it unconstitutional.
Bottom Line...
Trump can solve the DACA problem tomorrow, with no Amnesty - but only if he wants to.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, Trump has made it very clear that he is only going to deport criminal immigrants - and no one else.

Of course....
But he does want to end DACA .....however not until there’s a ‘solution’ to those here who have been here ‘along while’, without criminal charges, have work etc....he does not want to ‘just’ deport them. He’s made that clear.

However, if Trump gets them all to approve of whatever he has in mind, it’s a massacre of democrats. Every person in that room with Trump better get it into their thick heads that they are in the room with a proven winner.
