Credit service shuts down payments on all gun purchases (Intuit)

Several gun-related businesses were suddenly and without warning disrupted in recent weeks when Intuit stopped processing credit card payments because sales were gun-related, The Post has learned.

It should be noted that Quicken is no longer owned by Intuit, they sold the entire Quicken product line to HIG Capital two years ago. To bring some clarity here, it is the PERSONAL desktop financial software Quicken & Quicken for Mac that is no longer owned by Intuit. Intuit still owns QuickBooks which is a business oriented accounting, payroll etc. operation. Intuit also owns TurboTax, the leading PC & Mac income tax preparation software.

Shows that I haven't been following software developments. Usually there is a Linux or MacOS advocate on these threads and I thought I had one of those.

Intuit is aggogant to the poing of nausea. I use quickbooks but the next time they make me move to a diffrent new version I will forgo the opportunity
