Donald Trump Looks And Acts Mentally Ill, Says CNBC Correspondent John Harwood

Donald Trump looks and talks like a person who is mentally ill, says CNBC correspondent John Harwood, and others at the network are also questioning the president’s sanity, Mediaite is reporting.

Trump’s behavior at the G7 summit, during which he’s railed against “unfair” trade practices with America’s closest allies, suggested allowing Russia back into the fold, threatening retaliatory tariffs, and criticized presidents going back to the Eisenhower administration, has been described as “harsh” even by Fox News. But for Harwood and his CNBC colleagues, it’s more concerning than that.

Speaking to MSNBC’s AM Joy on Saturday, Harwood brought up Trump’s behavior at the summit.

“He did not look well to me in that press conference. He was not speaking logically or rationally. There was something about his affect which was oddly kind of languid from him. I don’t know what it means, but he did not look well to me.”

Harwood’s concerns were echoed by his colleagues. MSNBC contributor Malcolm Nance compared him to a monarch who’s lost touch with reality.

“He came off like Mad King Donald.”

“If you were talking to me this morning the way we just heard Donald Trump talk, I would ask you if you’d taken any medication, advise you not to operate any heavy machinery.”

Disregarding Trump’s mental health, there’s little doubt that the president has been, at the very least, inconsistent at the G7 summit. After complaining at length about trade imbalances and threatening to cut off trade with even the U.S.’ closest allies, Trump then made what Business Insider describes as a “stunning reversal,” stating that there should be no tariffs and no barriers to trade at all. This comes a week after Trump imposed harsh tariffs against U.S. allies, including Canada, Mexico, and the European Union.

This is not the first time Trump’s mental health has come up in conversation. Back in April, as Vanity Fair reported at the time, Trump advisers, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that they were concerned with the president’s mental health.

In particular, they were worried about what Trump might say or do during a five-day vacation at Mar-a-Lago with nothing on his schedule, in advance of a summit with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe.

Similarly, as Fox News reports, Trump’s personal physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, endured a barrage of questions about the president’s mental health. Jackson tried to ease concerns by pointing out that the president had scored perfectly on a cognitive test that included being told to draw a clock.

The network that can’t find a stock to issue a sell signal on. I’m surprised they weathered out the NASDAQ crash of 2000. Bunch of frauds and liars.

It’s like they just draw a playing card from the stack daily.
What are the cards and how many?
They just shuffle and draw from the stack over and over, and they lose over and over.

I say we just get this crap over right the hell now-—round up all the “journalists” and slap them silly. NEVER in my life have I seen such stupidity and ignorance on parade-—a calvacade of clowns.

Bernie Sanders would have won the nomination. But the primaries were rigged, so instead they nominated a cackling, drunken, megalomaniacal, narcissistic witch. If I were them, I’d drop the subject of sanity. But they’re crazy, so they won’t.

How dumb are these people? Seriously, no one can be this idiotic. They are clearly pushing an agenda.

This is not a reversal. It's so simple that there's no way that they can't see this. Trump believes that there should be no trade barriers... but if the rest of the world is going to put them up when we try to trade with them, then we will have to put them up as well. All Trump is trying to say is if they takes theirs down, we'll take ours down too. That's fair trade right there.

This is too simple of a concept for them not to get. So this reporting has to be misleading intentionally.

John Harwood has never been fair or rational, where Donald Trump is concerned. But this takes bias to a new level. Trump has repeatedly made it clear that he accepts free trade as an ideal; but will insist that it be fair. He also understands, as Harwood apparently does not, that restoring American steel & aluminum capacity is essential for our safe future. The fact that we had twice the production capacity of Germany & Japan combined, in World War II, was a major factor in our victory.

The President deserves our enthusiastic support for his trade policies. The tariffs on steel & aluminum reflect his understanding of the military essentials. What Harwood is doing reflects Misdirection: Familiar Leftist Tactic

Of course he does especially when you’re wearing those hate filled far left, Obama worshiping, commie loving spectacles.

I watched the whole press conference President Trump gave and it was easily one of his best. He handled every question with a business intelligence that you rarely see in our leaders. He crushed the CNN reporter! John Harwood is a DNC hack and a simpleton at that. It just goes to show you that they can’t attack him on the substance, so they resort to schoolyard taunts. It means we are WINNING!

This guy is the problem....He doesn’t follow logic very well....Other countries have huge tariffs against OUR goods Trump is paying them back in kind and their screaming like a struck dog!

His point is exactly that...”Trade must be fair. it must go BOTH ways equally.

More likely that those commentators at CNBC are mentally ill.

“I don’t take cheap shots at Hillary Clinton or anybody else ...

“Have you heard me complaining on any media about how Hillary is campaigning or interacting with the press? No ... The value of the event, to me, was seeing you guys.” — In a May 2015 e-mail, CNBC correspondent John Harwood attempts to clear the air and make nice after receiving the following e-mail from Jennifer Palmieiri, Hillary Clinton campaign director of communications:

“(John Podesta) is not joking. He and I are both put off by your piece.

“The briefing was just meant to help give context to the press for how we are thinking about the race and how summer is likely to go. (We) never intended for it to be newsmaking event.

“We thought it would be helpful and you turned it into another hit piece on how our campaign interacts with the press. Seemed like a cheap shot. And odd coming from you.”

Harumph!

I saw a clip of him handing CNN their asses during the conference. That was great. He broke it down, made it easy to understand, and made them look like fools.
