“Art of Deal” Ghostwriter: Trump “Mentally Ill”
FinkelBlog ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 06/11/2018 5:33:54 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

After achieving some notoriety as Donald Trump’s ghostwriter for “Art of the Deal,” Tony Schwartz has been seeking a second bite at the celebrity apple, advancing the notion that Trump is—not to put too fine a point on it—crazy.

And of course, the liberal media is happy to provide Schwartz a platform to promote his theory. So there was Schwartz on CNN this morning:

“I’m going to say it very bluntly: he’s mentally ill . . . He’s prima facie mentally ill: he has a personality disorder.”

“And Schwartz got his medical degree from where exactly?”

More like a “medical discharge” from the local insane asylum. That’s why he thinks he’s knowledgeable enough to discuss Trump’s mental “condition”.

It is like a stick they keep beating Trump with over and over. It is time to stick their stick up their ass.

Didn't realize this guy was so familiar with 0bama. It does sound like a good description of the former occupant of the People's House.

Are there not laws against slander?

If memory serves, President Trump has pursued legal action in the case of libel. But in this era slander should be just as easy to pursue because we usually have video of it.

Why do they keep calling this guy Trump’s ghostwriter, trying to make it a derogatory term?

Schwartz was Trump’s co-writer. He was listed on the cover.

A ghostwriter is just that, a hidden author that no ones knows about.

The Establishment is getting frantic as the IG report comes out on Thursday and the possibility of a favorable outcome from the NK meeting. Also, the house of cards is collapsing on NAFTA and the rest of the trade agreements globally.

They must know that Muller has zero on Trump so I have noticed that the media has gone back to their Trump is mentally unstable blah blah blah. They know their side is going to come out bad in all these self inflicted investigations.

I suspect Schwartz is mistaking the image he sees in the mirror for Trump.

Poor idjit loser. Can’t make it in this world on his own so he has to ankle-bite someone famous to get noticed. Is there an easier target for the left right now that our fantastic President Trump?

Prima facie means “based on the first impression; accepted as correct until proved otherwise.”

Prima facie mentally ill? Well this certainly gives this clown some wiggle room. This caveat makes his statement ridiculous.

Trump is in good company, most republicans are accused of being evil, stupid, or both. But very few get called evil, stupid, AND crazy. Haven’t seen this many unhinged leftists since Reagan.

I looked up "Prima facie" and it means based on the first impression; accepted as correct until proved otherwise.

I'm not really impressed with his use of this Latin phrase, but I think it might be accurate in that what it means is that this guy's first impression was that Trump was crazy, and he accepts his own first impressions as true unless someone proves to his satisfaction that he could be wrong. In other words, this arrogant fellow is projecting his own daffiness on to Trump.
