No, this is not a jihad incident. This is an incident that illustrates the mindset of all too many Muslims, including jihadists. We see here the effects of growing up in a culture that sanctifies violence and has contempt for women and blacks. And it is noteworthy that this story has gotten virtually no attention in the establishment media. Why not? We are a nation that is traumatized by and simultaneously fascinated by and fixated upon racism. It is the national sin and the national preoccupation. If Islam El Masry had been a non-Muslim white American, would this story be as buried as it has been? You tell me.

Within a couple of months, he was angrily using the n-word to describe specific—certainly not all—Black customers who patronized that store and were excessively obnoxious and "ghetto" in their behavior and attitude.
This goes to show that some of the bigotry which is expressed against elements of the Black community is acquired from direct experience—not "white privilege". And make no mistake, their were "white trash" customers who behaved similarly, but I don't know what he called them. Many of these rude people were homeless/panhandler types, so the behavior certainly wasn't isolated to any specific skin color. This is definitely the kind of thing you see in any heavily urban environment with a sizable proportion of lower middle class population which is blended with those in true poverty.
Like I said, this Bangladeshi guy was as dark-skinned (or darker) as some of the Blacks he called the n-word...
Balderdash. Racism is a global sin which can be see in all cultures and races. It is by no means isolated to America, and, indeed, given the "melting pot" amalgam of races and cultures which comprise We the People, not to mention our worship of Freedom, Equality, and Opportunity, America remains one of the least racist and least balkanized nations on Earth.

The left only practices identity or tribal politics. So this case is interesting becuse this pits one leftist disaffected minority constituent against another. In fact, the Left has lost one interest group already; the traditional working class voters. These conflicts between leftist interest groups will only increase. Eventually, the left will have to take a side based on identity because the Left cannot persuade through logical means (that is, logical to the interests of the individual).
If the left used logical means, such as an appeal to the constitution, rule of law, diversity of opinion, individual liberty, free markets, they couldn’t achieve their aim of authoritarian and totalitarian rule by leftist elites.
The dictatorship of the proletariat (or whatever tribal group du jour) is an oxymoron. It’s always rule by elites.

Not all Muslims are jihadists. Many are born into the religion and simply don’t take it that seriously. The only good Muslims are bad Muslims.
I wasn’t saying that. In fact what I was saying is that the mindset that drives jihadists is the same mindset that drives all muslims. Which is what the author said as well but he attempted to make a distinction about it which he didn’t adequately explain.
The difference is in how far the individual muslim takes that mindset.

I don’t get it. Do all muslims walk around with signs hung around their necks that read, “I am a Muslim?” Is everyone who looks Middle Eastern a Muslim? Suppose they are Christians from the Middle East? Robert Spencer writes about jihadis, I know - but how did he know the guy was Muslim?
this is a conundrum for the Democrats. As they are supposedly pro Muslim and pro PC
