Charles handled every hurdle in life with courage, dignity and resolve and he had was dealt with many.
He made it all look so easy.

"...beloved and brilliant..." I wouldn't go that far. Charles is only marginally tolerable, and is often out in left field with his analyses.
Sorry about your cancer, Chuck. I can personally relate to that struggle.

I’m sorry to this, but I disagree about Krauthammer’s “incisive” analyses. He, like so many long-time GOPers, thinks in terms of protecting the establishment and not in terms of favoring individual liberty and the Constitution over the establishment.

Sometimes the look on his face after Nina Tottenberg said something stupid spoke volumes.

He was always the smartest guy in the room. His arguments and points were iron clad, thorough and well researched. Agreed, and although not a Trump fan, he did not let hate leak into his thinking like the vapid George Will. Charles will be missed. I always enjoyed listening to his opinions.

True. He did seem to get wobbly near the end of his tenure

Sad news, indeed. One of the good guys.

Don’t miss the point about Krauthammer’s view on God. It’s a lesson showing how high intellect unrestrained by humility can cause blindness.

I am sad to hear this.
While I didn’t always agree with him (though I often did), the fact is that life dealt him a bad hand with his accident...and he just kept going. He didn’t let his paralysis stop him from living a life that was, by any measure, very full and very worthwhile. Putting politics aside, I cannot see how ANYONE couldn’t admire him, his courage and his indomitable spirit. The world will be a much poorer place without him.

An admirable man for his disciplined mind and perseverance in the face of such adversities life brings. Well, done CK and may you get a prime window seat upstairs.

Happy trails, Charles. Your dancing shoes are polished and are awaiting you on the other side.
Well said. May the LORD continue to bless this longtime member of our own family's synagogue.

I'm not a medical doctor or anything, so I'm not really sure of the biological or anatomical science of it all, but I'm pretty sure that being an ass unrestrained by not being an ass can also cause blindness.

Charles Krauthammer has impacted the lives of a multitude of people, disabled or not. He did not let his disability determine the whole of his life. He is a courageous individual who has shown us all how to move along, whatever our circumstances, and make the utmost of our lives. Charles leaves this world a better place for having shared his life and intellectual outlook on many and varied subjects with us. I will miss Charles Krauthammer. God bless him as he moves on to his next journey.
