Charles Krauthammer, the beloved and brilliant Fox News Channel personality who gave up a pioneering career in psychiatry to become a Pulitzer Prize-winning political analyst, on Friday revealed the heartbreaking news that he is in the final stages of a losing battle with cancer.
The 68-year-olds incisive takes on politics of the day have been missing from Fox News Channels Special Report for nearly a year as he battled an abdominal tumor and subsequent complications, but colleagues and viewers alike had held out hope that he would return to the evening show he helped establish as must-viewing. But in an eloquent, yet unblinking letter to co-workers, friends and Fox News Channel viewers, Krauthammer disclosed that he has just weeks to live.
I have been uncharacteristically silent these past ten months, the letter began. I had thought that silence would soon be coming to an end, but Im afraid I must tell you now that fate has decided on a different course for me.

God be with you Charles
On the plus side, she does die a little bit everyday and always with the knowledge that she will never realize her dream of being the first female President.
I agree with you.
The path Charles takes from here will be marked by the struggle ensuing between him, his intellectual pride and the question of God.
I hope Charles will see the limits of his intellect and of his morality, allowing the greater light to shine through. I pray that in recognizing his own resistance Charles will find that greatest human wisdom through humility, rejection of self and submission to the person of Truth.

I wish the same for you when your time comes.
I just read that he was getting better. Oy!
Its that thought that makes it possible for me to get out of bed in the morning.
Me too! And I love the fact that she is married to a man who couldn’t care less about her.
I am very sad to learn this news.
Prayers for Charles and his family.
Bump
I didnt know he had cancer, when he left. Can’t remember what they said he had, but didn’t know it was cancer. I first watched him with Hannity. Really sad. Oy vey (looked up Oy, and Oy vey is more appropriate).
I wish that i could say the same...
RIP Mr. Krauthammer
Prayers...may his family find comfort in God’s love.
I agree with your sentiment.
On this Earth, there is no doubt that Charles and I became political enemies because of his views.
If I’m not mistaken, he is an avowed atheist. I hope and pray that is not the case when he leaves this world.
I would love to see him in the hereafter of our lives.
When facing death, one can convert very easily. Death, in reality, changes one’s perspective. Jewish is not a disease, it’s a belief.. and a few weeks to live, gives one time to rethink and be sure... very sure.
Yes, I too didn’t always agree with Charles, and no one should be in 100% agreement with anyone. But he is undoubtedly brilliant and certainly broadened my thinking in regards to the different angles of an issue. I have missed listened to his takes on Bret’s All-Star Fox panel, so much so I rarely even watch Bret’s show anymore.
I did not often agree with his opinions, particularly those he stated of President Trump. But he kept himself respectable, unlike the partisan hacks who pretend themselves objective reporters.

Indeed, one of the tragedies of this tragedy is that he did not live to see the rest of the Trump administration and comment on it. He might have even seen how wrong he was to oppose our PRESIDENT Trump.
Krauthammer lost me when he was so anti Trump.. his eliteism became more pronounced.
He was a brilliant man and very ethical in the true Judeo-Christian way, which the modern world has nearly abandoned (if not to say destroyed).
God knows all and God will know what was in his heart. I never felt he was a rebellious “Jewish atheist,” ala Marx or Freud, but perhaps just an intelligent man who couldn’t find a Jewish place to be between the Hasidim and the famous Upper West Side “Democrat Temple Go With The Flow.”
I didn’t always agree with him but I always respected his opinion because he was morally sound and honest. As Christians say, following St. Paul, he ran the good race.
This Catholic will be praying for him in his last weeks.
Couldn’t this doctor help save Charles?
The patient had spent 10 years without cancer after having her left breast removed. But then the disease returned with a vengeance and failed to respond to multiple hormonal and chemotherapy treatments.
As well as spreading to the her liver, the recurrent disease also established itself in Ms Perkins right breast.
The US team led by Dr Steven Rosenberg, from the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, identified immune system T-cells within the cancerous breast tissue that were able to recognise and target four mutant tumour proteins.
The immune cells, known as tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), were removed from the patient, multiplied under laboratory conditions and injected back into the bloodstream in large numbers.
