Anthony Bourdain, a gifted storyteller and writer who took CNN viewers around the world, has died. He was 61. CNN confirmed Bourdain's death on Friday and said the cause of death was suicide.

Has anyone even speculated the possibility of an overdose? Have they said suicide by what method? If he was working on a project, and was simply found unresponsive in his hotel room, that sounds more like an overdose. Unless, of course, he was unresponsive because he was hanging from something.

That doesn’t mean we resign ourselves to letting evil flourish.
Truly sad. RIP. But his suicide started long ago with his addictions. Someone here commented it was the ultimate selfish act. Here is where faith in God can carry us through all suffering until the end of our lives in a way He determines. Maybe he was facing some physical suffering he did not want to go through. Maybe some shameful news was going to come out that he could not face. It really doesn’t matter. He made a bad choice and may God have mercy on his soul.
