Washington (CNN)

President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said Sunday that the President should not testify before special counsel Robert Mueller because "our recollection keeps changing."

Giuliani made the comment when asked about fellow Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow's contradictory remarks on whether the President weighed in on a statement put out about his son Donald Trump Jr.'s controversial 2016 meeting with Russians at Trump Tower.

Mr. Mayor is clearly past his sell-by date.

When are people going to figure out that Trump is trolling everyone?

Rudy isn't saying anything that hasn't been ran past the boss.

Yes, they’re obviously trolling the liberals and the liberal media.

> He can use the Hillary defense. <

True, but I’d rather he’d use the infinite-delay strategy.

I’m not going to testify just yet.
I’m too busy now. Check in with me later.
Sorry, but my lawyer is on vacation.
I might have time for you next month. But I might not. We’ll see.

There are things you just don’t say in public. You realize how it would sound and you take a pass.

Even if totally innocent, this is just a dumb thing to say in public.

Giuliani, if you can’t do better than this, how about skipping a few interviews.

Trump hires people that don’t run everything past him. He’s not a micro-manager or a scheduler of tennis courts.

>> the shelf life BS for most products <<

Agreed 101% for foods in the “dry goods” and “frozen” categories.

Ditto for medicines. My doctor said most of them will retain potency for five years, probably more if kept in the refrigerator.

But for fresh meat and fish, I’ve found that the sell-by dates usually are not too far off the mark.

In other words, it depends.

This jerk should go home. Every time he opens his mouth he is showing he is FUBAR. He was a fantastic Mayor but is losing his marbles.

He'll go home when his boss asks him to.

Last I checked, Rudy W. Giuliani was still employed as the President's lead attorney in the Russian collusion case and as far as I can tell, he hasn't walked back any of his recent comments.

Trump is trolling. He said winning would be fun. Sit back, relax, and enjoy for once someone who is willing to dish it out back to Democrats the way they've always done to us.

Yes.

And you’re correct on meats in the fridge.

If you think the boss would give the go-ahead for a statement like the one at issue, then it seems to me that you have a less-than-perfect opinion of the boss’s judgment.

Giuliani should not make public statements.

Democrats believe that Robert Mueller is in charge and calling the shots.

Rudy Giuliani is remind them that he's not.

Trump needs to sequester Giuliani and ban him from TV appearances. One week G is saying Trump should testify, the next week he is saying Trump shouldn’t. G is too much of loose cannon.

Why? It's a beautiful Clintonesque "f*** y**" to everyone who seems to think that Mueller is in charge of this investigation.

Rudy is taking charge. I think it's great!

Fake News.

CNN is taking a quote out of context in another attack on Trump.

You might be on to something. Rudy’s 2 week statement seems preposterous now. I’d bet he is just beginning to realize what a vicious gang of seditious bastards he is up against.

Mueller needs to state what the crime is and who the suspect is BEFORE the president decides whether or not to make time on his crowded calendar
