Gowdy claimed that the FBI's use of spies against the Trump campaign was perfectly proper, but multiple reports indicate he never even saw the full records Congress subpoenaed on the matter.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) recently suggested the FBI did nothing wrong when it used at least one government informant to secretly collect information on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Public reports indicate, however, that Gowdy never even reviewed the relevant documents on the matter subpoenaed by Congress. In fact, a spokeswoman for Gowdy told The Federalist that the congressman doesn’t even know what documents and records were subpoenaed by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

Correct. A real patriot would do what is right regardless of the consequences. A private in the army will lay down his life for his brothers in arms and many have. I would expect Trey Gowdy to do no less in the political theater. He is a political whore worthy of nothing but contempt. A private dying on a hill side in Afghanistan has many times the honor of Trey Gowdy.

Gowdy prefaced his remarks with “based on what I have seen,” but of course he hasn’t see everything.
I’ve given up on speculating what any of these little newsoid items mean in the grand scheme.
But that was after he had already won the Presidency!!! WTF is Gowdy talking about?

Interesting guesses. They seem more probable than “He’s being blackmailed!”
The slime at the bottom of the swamp has dirt on almost everyone. They appear to have something on Gowdy. He and Nunes never got to see the documents. They only got a report from the FBI agents present at the meeting, as if anyone would believe them.
Gowdy always was all talk and no do, He is only good for red meat. Review his end results after millions spent on investigations, and he is about as effective as a dishrag! He is the Johnny Manzel of investigations, all blow, no show.

It's now crystal clear why Gowdy's many congressional investigations went nowhere. He's been owned by the deep state for a very long time.

I agree. Maybe it was a threesome he had in college or a short period of gay debauchery in his youth. It just seems that whenever someone mentioned a role that involved approval by the Senate, he freaked out.
Speaking of Nunes, he seems to have gone silent.
Nunes quiet and Gowdy blabbing is not a good sign.
I’ve pondered this a long time. We know what they did during a presidential campaign. The Clintons set the precedent with Filegate. Of course they have dirt on everyone that’s dirty.
It’s almost a litmus test. The turncoats have done something so bad or shameful that they’re compromised.
America almost foundered. Out of nowhere, God gave us DJT.
We MUST weed out Congress. It’s unbelievable how many R’s are actively working for the enemy.
