Gowdy’s little scene was the least direct he could muster, to do as he was told, for the safety of his family. The thoroughly lacking in character, Roberts, could explain the process to us, if he had any honor. So now we see that Gowdy has sold his soul, also, and is lacking honor to his oaths.
