“Roseanne” fans have called on HBO to fire “Real Time” host Bill Maher in response to the comedian’s jokes that President Trump was part orangutan.
ABC quickly canceled the successful “Roseanne” reboot Tuesday hours after its star, Roseanne Barr, posted a racist tweet about former President Obama’s aide Valerie Jarrett. The tweet said Jarrett, who is African-American and born in Iran, is like the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby.” Barr apologized for the tweet before her show was canceled. The next day, she appeared to blame the prescription pill Ambien for the tweet.
Following ABC's announcement, Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, a right-wing nonprofit group, tweeted, “Wait, Bill Maher makes comparisons to Trump being a gorilla all the time? They get classified as ‘jokes’ by the media and he is of course allowed to keep his show and not have his life ruined. The difference? Bill Maher is a liberal, Roseanne is a free-thinking Trump supporter.”

I’m not sure I see that as a useful comparison. Roseanne strikes me as the sort of rudderless character who will change stripes yet again before too long.
(But I should disclose: I saw her original show once or twice, and have never seen the new one.)
One of the best things I’ve seen on domestic abuse was a 2-episode show on “Roseanne” back in the late ‘90s. It was excellent. Also a great one on adults who were abused in childhood.
It wasn’t all silly; they touched on some pithy issues and basically handled situations correctly. The Roseanne character was bossy and brash and seemed to rule the roost, but when things need to be handled, and the family protected, the strong husband/father stepped in to TCB.
We don’t know what’s in people’s hearts and heads at any given moment. Anyhow, I’m glad I’m a Christian and comprehend the concept of redemption. Just sayin’...
Valerie Jarrett comes, on both sides of her family, from the black elite. She has a Ashkenazi Jewish great-grandfather, but the rest of her lineage is African American. Her mostly European features likely do not come from the 12.5% of her lineage that is Caucasian, but from mixed race relationships that occurred several generations back.
Her background, unfortunately, allowed her parents, and probably her grandparents, to connect with the white liberal establishment. Like Barack Obama (not a traditional African American, at least if the Barack Obama, Sr., parentage is true), she was a "red diaper baby" exposed to leftism from the start, not much different from Bill Ayers or Bernadine Dohrn.
Most everyone is, as it's the dominant culture. One must think to conservatism where, in the increasing gibsmedat mentality, thinkers seem fewer and farther between than ever before.
The dominant influence in Valerie Jarrett's life was her leftist (and possibly Communist) parents, who were the African American adjuncts of the leftist networks in academia and the foreign service. In these respects, she was atypical of her generation.
Getting rid of Maher is only fair.
However, Liberals care nothing for fairness.
Bill Maher was fired by ABC for supporting the 9/11 terrorists by saying they were brave.
He was then hired by HBO!

Roseanne may be being used by these Uniparty Elites to get out some truth (her tweets about high level pedophilia for example) but this all could be a chessboard move for the Elites...
The Elites needed to find out how popular Roseanne's neo-right wing libertarianism was... and they found out with her TV show! But they needed to bury it after they found out the numbers are still with Roseanne/Trump's brand of anti Establishment views!

I specifically recall Ted Cruz's snickering, mocking smile when he was caught cheating in Iowa, right after his people screamed down Sarah Palin for her Trump endorsement, a while after he was photographed on a roller coaster with a campaign aide, flashing that weird elite gang sign or satanic hand signal for "help" in the photo. (Like his former boss, W, Cruz is no Christian, and similarly he probably believes "Muslims and Christians believe in the same God!).

The litmus test is Christ, and I recall Roseanne saying “Hail Satan” at some point, and she was not joking.

The other candidates are a mixed bag. And for U.S. House, incumbent Mark Wayne Mullin, while conservative, is a liar. When he entered congress, he vowed to run 2 terms and OUT. Now, he’s running for a third, because “the Lord told me to”. UH UH! God told you to LIE? I don’t think so. I like Jarren Jackson. Super conservative, NO SHARIA EVER, and a bunch of other good stuff.
