SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Allegations of battery made against a California Assembly candidate have proven to be false, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Detectives say after interviewing several witnesses and reviewing surveillance video, allegations against Phil Graham have proven to be unfounded and the case is being closed.
Niki Burgan filed the report on Sunday, May 20. Burgan alleged that the incident happened on May 14 at the First Street Bar in Encinitas. Burgan said she met Graham and that they engaged in conversation.
Burgan alleged that Graham kissed her against her will and followed her outside before attempting to have her touch him in a sexual manner against her wishes.
The department says it conducted a thorough investigation and disproved the allegations after being assigned to the case on May 21.
10News reached out the Phil Graham and received the following statement:

Until we start punishing people for false accusations, this will continue to happen. Thank goodness there was video evidence to dispute her claims and prove his innocence. How many men have paid the price for being wrongfully accused? Women like this actually hurt other women who have real cause.

In a major breakthrough for the Lamestream Propagandists, the politician was not identified as Republican until paragraph five of five, if at all. Oh, that’s because it was a positive story about a Rep, not a negative story about a Dem, who invariably is not outed as a Dem until many inches down the story.
Arrest her, make her pay the costs, and throw the book at her. This is ridiculous.
False reporting, fake crimes, the person doing this should serve the same amount of time as the person they wrongfully cause would have served.
