The Department of Homeland Security announced at 3:46 pm today [Friday] that it will allow various U.S. employers 15,000 additional H-2B workers this summer; they will do unskilled, non-agricultural seasonal work...The 15,000 will be in addition to the 66,000 permits in this program that have already been issued in keeping with the long-standing statutory ceiling.

I have an idea. How about some pressure on the Trump Administration and some members of Congress to offer Tommy Robinson asylum instead of allowing the extra flood of H2-B visas. This is absurd and 100% contrary to Trump’s promises and governing philosophy. None of these people are needed. I met a bunch of them last summer - nice kids from eastern europe and south america that get paid minimum wage and tips to serve food and drinks at summer resorts. These are jobs that used to go to teens & college kids but they’ve been cut out by cheap foreign labor. Disgusting.

It’s the same constituency here, in the States, FRiends. I’ve seen them face to face around resort areas. They’re the ones dragging the hordes in. It’s the political/regulator class, brainwashed in contemporary universities.

I’m on the fence about this....I say this because I’ve worked with ‘our’ teens before and they don’t do anything more than they have to and whine throughout. So I don’t buy these kids want these jobs....they have overinflated ideas of what they should be paid from the get go as well.

Now wait a minute...if they’re unemployed than why is it the numbers are so low and employeer’s are complaining a shortage of workers????
Are we not to believe that America is back to working as is so often reported?
Has it not been reported, and Trump saying there’s a shortage of workers? With so many companies hiring and not getting enough workers what other options can he use to keep the momentum going in pace with the companies growing and hiring?
We also know that there’s momentum to get vocationa schools going again so we have workers right her trained.
I can say this...when the Oil people to PA. hiring for truck drivers etc. wtc. they could NOT find enough people...so they opened training at the unemployment offices to sign up for those. Far too many would not. It was easier to collect unemployment or stay on the welfare rolls.
SO I’m not buying there’s all these people who NEED jobs.
There are still many millions of Americans without jobs. (even with President T’s fine start on jump starting the economy )
