No amount of alcohol, sausage or bacon is safe according to a new global blueprint on how to beat cancer.
Even small amounts of processed meats and booze increase the risk of a host of cancers outlined in World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) guidelines updated every decade.
The respected global authority has unveiled a 10-point plan to cut your risk of getting cancer by up to 40%.
Brits have been told to banish favourites such as ham, burgers and hot dogs from their diets by experts who say they are a direct cause of bowel cancer.
Processed meats also cause people to be overweight which can trigger many more cancers.

Steaming Pantload Alert.
Nothing bothers a libtard nanny stater more than people actually enjoying life. Drives them nuts.
Wow!
After reading this I realized I woke up this morning dead.

Then I should have been dead 40 years ago:-)

By Jove I think you’ve got it!

Sausage is basically ground pork.
Bacon almost certainly is bad stuff (that tastes good).
Both bacon and ham have deteriorated in quality, probably because of federal regulation. I’ll be eating much less.
As for alcohol, if cabernet sauvignon proves to be the death of me, so be it.
Wonderful movie.

People are losing more weight and more permanently and doing it more rapidly on Atkins, ketogenic, LCHF etc. diets - all of which allow or even encourage the consumption of processed meats.
It is the ‘experts’ who have been pushing low-fat, high-carbs and failing miserably.
If true the entire countries of Germany and Austria would have a lifespan of 20.
One of my grandmothers was born to a German immigrant farmer, so she naturally consumed those three deadly carcinogens to excess, and to make matters worse, she also ate cholesterol-laden eggs and cooked with lard. LOTS AND LOTS of lard... she was known to make lard sandwiches. That damned food took her before her time.

First thing I thought, too. Filthy satan worshipping goat humpers.
“No amount of anything that you enjoy eating is safe.”
Eating grass clippings after mowing your lawn is probably the only safe thing to eat. Fuhget about it. I do agree about avoiding processed meats in excess or as a regular diet.
My method is eat lots of veggies (multi color peppers, onions, spinach, garlic, tomatoes) with breakfast in an egg omelette around 11 am (I am 78 and retired, I get up late), and dinner around 7 pm consisting of steamed veggies (broccoli or green beans or cauliflower etc), ground turkey burger, and fried red potatoes (microwave first, then cut, then sauteed) and a small dessert. I can have a snack between breakfast and dinner. SO all my calorie intake is between 11 am & 8 pm. That gives my body enough time to get rest from release of insulin for 15 hours. That has improve my insulin resistance and no longer a border line diabetic.
And here is the important part...walk 150 minutes every week! Knock on wood, do not need any doctors and weigh the same as 40 years ago. Limit myself to 1 cup of coffee every day, and as much black tea as I want. Coffee causes excess acid production in my system. Tea or diet-coke has no such effect.
So — give it to me straight, Doc: how long do I have?
On the other hand, if I leave off consuming the enjoyable things in life, I’ll live crappily ever after!
I stand in error... my grandma was a month shy of 100 when she passed away due to bacon, sausage, alcohol, eggs and lard.
