Independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont says he's running for re-election this fall.
Sanders' campaign made the announcement Monday.
The 76-year-old Sanders plans to launch his campaign next month with a series of rallies across Vermont.
In a statement issued by his campaign, Sanders, who is among the list of possible contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, says it has been an honor to serve the people of Vermont, but more remains to be done.

LOL, what the hell is an old socialist going to do if he doesn’t run for government office? He doesn’t have any skills except for selling snake-oil to the weak-minded.

No actual work experience that I know of. At least not long term. Lazy laid back ner’do well, so he fits in a lot of niches with that resume. And yet, he can own 3 properties? Heck yeah, he needs to run again.

Sanders, who is among the list of possible contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020...Bernie is an "Independent" right? So the Demoncrats will "allow" Bernie in to their primary system again. This time they will be very careful when they cheat. They don't want to make it as obvious as last time!

That is pretty pathetic. I suppose really capable folks know better than to subject themselves to the machine. I sure don’t want to run. Well except maybe run away.
