Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg said Friday that politicians will soon be paying lip service to the need for school safety after Friday's school shooting in Texas, but said they're only in it to “boost their approval ratings."
“Get ready for two weeks of media coverage of politicians acting like they give a shit when in reality they just want to boost their approval ratings before midterms,” Hogg tweeted just hours after the shooting at Santa Fe High School.

Hog is deeply disappointed and in despair that a black rifle wasn’t used.

We care about every one of these shootings. If someone dies, I don’t care what color their skin is, it’s a travesty.

Well, I think the argument can be made that David Hogg is as much or more responsible for these school shootings as any politician.
He is one among many who give these events the nationwide attention they attain; while at the same time removing even the slightest inkling of responsibility from the actual people who do the shooting. He blames politicians who did not pull the triggers and have incredibly little power to prevent these events. These same politicians have in fact enacted considerable numbers of gun regulations, but short of waving some sort of magic wand, do not seem to have the power to prevent these horrific acts. Instead, he blames the NRA who has little to no power to prevent these acts and in fact supports widespread understanding of guns and gun safety. As far as I know, NONE of these shooters has been an NRA member. Some of those NRA members actually HAVE prevented shootings as we all know. That would be, with their guns, by the way.
And so the deranged psychopaths who commit these horrible crimes, these bullied kids, they bear no responsibility whatsoever. And yet here they can get national attention because of the David Hoggs of the world. They get national attention and zero blame while people who had nothing whatsoever to do with these acts get all the blame.
It is a very childish, shallow position, one that will no doubt resonate with other shallow chilish zealots wishing to impinging upon the rights of others who have in fact committed no crimes at all.
Every time that little rat-faced sh*t opens his mouth, he spews nastiness and arrogance. What a vain and loathsome little punk.
