“Once the adjustment is executed, the cost for CVN 78 will stand at $13.027” billion, the Navy said.

Hope it comes with a warranty as the propulsion systems don't work. Could give everyone in the crew a paddle and tell them to have at it.

It’s curious that the carrier Ford can’t maintain a propeller bearing.
What the heck is going on ?

This is BS these should be warranty issues. I mean a broken propulsion and elevators?? Why are we paying extra for this?

the first ship in a new class is always something of an expensive process. it’s mystifying to me that people don’t understand that this is the cost of progress.

Nice generalization intended to mislead ...

The propulsion doesn’t work, the elevators don’t work.

And the arresting gear and catapults don’t work either.

For simplicity sake, what DOES work on this lemon?

How could they possibly slap the Ford name on something and not expect it to have warrantee issues?

It would be a shame if one of these boats was not named after Donald Trump, but only dead Presidents get so honored. Oh well.

Oh, yeah! None of the equipment in our military forces works right at all. If those close, overseas relatives of our coastal liberaltarians attacked us right now, we’d be defenseless!

[A little more irony and sarcasm there except for the close relatives part.]

;-)
