Navy Busts $12.9 Billion Spending Cap On Supercarrier

The US Navy’s costliest vessel ever just got pricer, breaching a $12.9 billion cap set by Congress by $120 million, the service told lawmakers this week.

Hope it comes with a warranty as the propulsion systems don't work. Could give everyone in the crew a paddle and tell them to have at it.

I just watched a documentary on Netflix about designing and building the Saturn V rocket. How can we do that, as a nation, and now have trouble building an aircraft carrier we can trust to work properly?

The propulsion doesn’t work, the elevators don’t work.

And the arresting gear and catapults don’t work either.
