Is al-Baghdadi still alive? There is no proof of his death in spite of 2 times people claimed he was killed.

Evil this bad, is hard to extinguish. If he is in Syria, this is likely the last place he can hide.

5 other top ISIS leaders were tricked into capture this week.

When I speak of the end of ISIS in Syria, I'm discounting the thousands that Erdogan the Islamist resettled in Afrin. Solving that problem will be a sensitive matter.

Al Baghdadi has 3 wives and can’t go outdoors for fear of being spotted.

If he ain’t dead, he wishes he was.

I'm sure "out of a sense of duty," he won't reveal Baghdadi's whereabouts.

Interesting. How was that accomplished?

I think John McCain might actually be Al Baghdadi.

I would too since his wives look like these ugly arabs:

Mr. Ithawi, described by the Iraqis as a top aide to the Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al- Baghdadi, had been in charge of fatwas, or religious rulings, in the Islamic State’s so-called caliphate. He was also in charge of the education curriculum, and was a member of the body that appointed security and administrative leaders for the Islamic State’s territory, which had included large parts of Iraq and Syria.

He had been living in Turkey with his Syrian wife under his brother’s identity, one of these officials said.

The Iraqis sent the Turks an intelligence file they had amassed on Mr. Ithawi, and the Turkish security forces arrested him on Feb. 15, and extradited him to Iraq, this official said.

The joint Iraqi-American intelligence team then set a trap, according to these officials. They persuaded Mr. Ithawi to contact several of his Islamic State colleagues who had been hiding in Syria and lure them across the border, the officials said.

The Iraqi authorities were waiting, and arrested the group soon after they crossed the frontier, the officials said.

Why didn’t they kill this guy when he was making trouble in Fallujah?

Of the recently captured ISIS head-loppers, how many met with Senator NoName as a cover that they were somehow on our side? Was Senator NoName’s little buddy, Senator Linda, with him at those meetings?

“thanks for this and prayers for the guys going into a very rough battle.”

Mazel Tov!

“Hope they have a lot of dachshunds to burrow into those tunnels.”

Robots. Check.

This Kurdish offensive is moving in the direction of Iran’s strategic land route into Syria/Lebanon, at the Iraqi/Syrian border crossing at Abu Kamal, at the same time that the Israeli operation is pounding Iranian Quds Force in Syria.

The Kurds are not only close to the last hideouts of ISIS, they have now closed within artillery range of Iran’s ground line of communication, for trucking any resupply or reinforcement into Syria/Lebanon.

Not a mere coincidence, in my view. I anticipate that strategic door being closed to the Iranians as part of upcoming operations. If the Kurds control that border crossing, it will be a strategic asset, making them worth a lot to the Gulf Arabs and Israel, as well as big leverage over the Government in Damascus, even if the Iranian regime falls.

It looks like the Israelis have established air supremacy already in Syria - no jets lost, apparent freedom to attack. So aerial resupply/reinforcement from Iran is possibly cut off already.

Free Iran!

Eighty million new friends.

“he (Baghdadi) is probably safe in Turkey in Erdogans palace sipping coffee...”

It sure looks like much of the leadership of ISIS has relocated to Turkey (e.g. all five of those recently captured).

The article points out that their ideology requires the leader to stay with his flag, controlling territory, to maintain their legal status as a Caliphate, and Baghdadi as Caliph. So he might go down with the ship, or wait to slip into Turkey at the last minute (which is about now).

Why would anyone even attempt to collect the $25 million reward, since we made the same offer for Bin Laden -and then let the poor Doctor who helped us find him get thrown into a Pakistani jail.

Where I am sure his life is not pleasant.

They tried. He is so very evil, he must represent the devil himself.

I’ve read descriptions of his eyes that would support that.

Far worse than “dead eyes”, pure “evil eyes”.

Latest I’ve heard:

Abu Bakar Al-Baghdadi is still on the loose in the Hajin, Shaddadi, Suwar and Markadah areas with four or five people, including his son and son-in-law.

It’s just a matter of time.
