A series of fires broke out on Monday in southern Israel, apparently as a result of flaming objects flown over the border from the Gaza Strip.
During recent clashes on the Gaza border, Palestinians have adopted a new tactic of sending blazing kites into Israel, sparking fires in nearby agricultural lands.

Throw flaming objects back over the fence...at 3000 fps.
Use drones to blow them back.
“Palestinians have adopted a new tactic of sending blazing kites into Israel...”
You’ve got to admit it; they’re quite technologically advanced for a bunch of stone-age goat abusers!
*SNORT*
Don’t the winds blow in the other direction sometimes?
Probably, but we all know that if Israel were to do it they would be in violation of Palestinians’ human rights.
The UN would huff and puff and pass resolutions condemning Israel. If there wasn’t a double standard there would be no standards at all.
That’s very seventh century.
Just like Islam.
Does being gay make them more dangerous?
Oh, those fun-loving, wonderful palis. Don’t they have anything else to do except murder Israelis, burn Israel vegetation, attack the Israeli wall and generally be sub-human losers? What a group of uncivilized malignancies.
The Japanese experimented with balloon attacks, against N. America, during WWII. Although they did kill 6 in Oregon, they weren’t very effective. Of course, Israel is a lot closer to Gaza, than Japan to N. America.
Send balloons filled with bacon right back at’em
We replied with "bat bombs". "The bomb consisted of a bomb-shaped casing with over a thousand compartments, each containing a hibernating Mexican free-tailed bat with a small, timed incendiary bomb attached.Dropped from a bomber at dawn, the casings would deploy a parachute in mid-flight and open to release the bats, which would then roost in eaves and attics in a 2040 mile radius. The incendiaries would start fires in inaccessible places in the largely wood and paper constructions of the Japanese cities that were the weapon's intended target." from WIKI
Now that’s ... twisted. (I absolutely won’t say “batty”.)
