Robert Mueller files request for 70 blank subpoenas in Paul Manafort’s Virginia case

Special counsel Robert Mueller on Thursday filed a request for 70 blank subpoenas in the Eastern District of Virginia, where former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
The two-page filing reveals little, but says that that each subpoena recipient must appear in the Alexandria, Va., courthouse on July 10 to testify in the case.
The 70 blank subpoenas amount to 35 total possible subpoenas — in each case, a subpoena is needed for the witness and another is needed for the defense. Court documents filed in April show that Mueller's team was pushing to subpoena 35 witnesses in the trial.

2 Scenarios.
Either Donald Trump et al have absolutely nothing to fear as they have done nothing wrong in the last 50 years - not even a ticket for jaywalking (not likely)
or...
Trump and company are guilty as sin. There IS something behind this witch hunt and there is nothing they can do about it. So they are sitting back and letting Mueller slowly lay his cards on the table.
Being that Trump, Sessions and the Executive branch are doing nothing it looks like option 2 is the heavy favorite.

Lots of angry responses as usual. People want Mueller fired for prosecuting Manafort. Who cares? Frankly Manafort deserves it. I can give a clear counterexample: Flynn is a patriot who was falsely prosecuted. I would be mad about that except it looks like the case will be continued to infinity.
And other than that? Gates? who cares. 13 Russian trolls? LoL. Let Mueller continue digging the hole.

Someone needs to organize a March on Mueller’s office in Washington. Mueller’s trying to overturn an election. Mueller does not have the right to void Trump’s rightful election. The independent prosecutor law is unconstitutional.
