Couple of months ago, I was looking at FBI data on homicides (national data). If you go to 2015, it’s only like 3-percent of all homicides that occur with rifles of any type (not just semi-automatic). That’s it. But the FBI won’t break this down any further to say x-number are which.

Then I looked at this odd number nationally. There are roughly twice as many folks killed by fists/boot stomping....as killed by rifles (all types). So the idea that if you wiped out all assault-rifles...it would bring peace to the land, is mostly a joke.

Yeah, but I believe the idea is that they need to win by one type of weapon at a time. Blame and scapegoat one weapon (Semiautomatic rifles) and then go for handguns, knives, etc.
