One of the points I make to anti NRA folks is to ask how many NRA members has performed mass shootings?

The answer is none.

Therefore, as a lobbying organization are they not allowed to represent their law abiding members in the same manner as any other organization?

Couple of months ago, I was looking at FBI data on homicides (national data). If you go to 2015, it’s only like 3-percent of all homicides that occur with rifles of any type (not just semi-automatic). That’s it. But the FBI won’t break this down any further to say x-number are which.

Then I looked at this odd number nationally. There are roughly twice as many folks killed by fists/boot stomping....as killed by rifles (all types). So the idea that if you wiped out all assault-rifles...it would bring peace to the land, is mostly a joke.

1) Some of the worst mass murders didn’t use guns:

They left out the "Kool-Aid" deal with Jim Jones - wasn't on US soil but killed 918...never heard anyone say we should band Kool-Aid.

I always like to point out that it would take American criminals (plus a few Adam Lanzas and Nikolas Cruzes) many hundreds of centuries to equal the number murdered by governments in just the previous one and that these governments started with legally disarmed citizens.

The NRA fights for SAFE, LEGAL use of firearms. How in blazes does that translate into advocacy of mass murder, or indifference to gun-related crime?

Conservatives live their lives by going about their daily business.

Liberals live their lives by being loud and obnoxious, looking to find anything and everything to complain about in life. They go about holding their marches, protests and rallies to destroy what they don't like.

They have to be the most miserable people on earth.

This latest school shooting aftermath will go the way of all others. democRATS will scream in anger at the NRA and demand a ban evil-looking assault weapons.

And then, as always, nothing will come of it. Congress won't pass anything. More people will buy guns and join the NRA more than ever before.

democRATS don't have a clue that their actions generate the exact opposite reaction they intend.

Look up democRATS in the dictionary and it will describe them and their political party as the party of "unintended consequences".

6) Most mass murderers are leftists or sometimes atheists. Do not fear the Republican with a gun, but run from the leftist with any weapon.

It seems there was an effort by members of the Florida state legislature urging Florida’s governor Scott to relieve the Broward county sheriff which went rebuffed and unreported.

If Scott had done so.The focus would have been on the so called “Promise Policies” enacted by the Marjory S Douglas school board supported by the previous Obama administration exposing the mind set of excessive permissiveness toward correction of any violation requiring disciplinary action. Which suggests what was going on there was hardly an idyllic scholastic setting let alone offer student security.

Because of this the focus was directed not at drug use and sales , broken into lockers ,cars, and stolen books ,bikes, and student vs student and nothing about student vs teacher altercations. Or perhaps the lowering of scholastic standards. But against guns and the NRA.

A better chant:

“Hey! Yo! Liberal Ho!
How many of your kids
killed today?!”

We should exterminate liberals since they’re the ones doing the killing.
