I remember when Brokaw was the local Anchorman on KNBC in Los Angeles. He always sounded like he had a mouth full of Marbles and I was surprised when he ended up on the NBC Network News with his Speech issues.

True story. Me and a buddy of mine who also was the best man at our wedding, knew the guy during the brief period he was at the University of Iowa. Whenever we encountered him he was dressed in all white tennis clothing. Always talking about drinking and babes. Seemed like a spoiled brat and we thought he was an asshole.
