The “code” was to be silent, accept the assault if one wants to stay in a position/move up and that’s the way it is. It worked both ways so some of this is really murky. Many have gotten to high places using sex as the resume enhancer. I do not want to see men turn into Pajama Boys, but the Macho Male predator’s days need to be over and women need to realize feminism is not about equality.
