The Fresno State University professor who made derogatory comments on Twitter about the death of former first lady Barbara Bush, won’t be disciplined, the school announced Tuesday.
In a letter to the “Campus Community,” Fresno State University President Joseph Castro said professor Randa Jarrar’s “conduct was insensitive, inappropriate and an embarrassment to the university.”
However, “After completing this process, we have concluded that Professor Jarrar did not violate any CSU or university policies and that she was acting in a private capacity and speaking about a public matter on her personal Twitter account,” Castro wrote.
“Her comments, although disgraceful, are protected free speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Additionally, although Professor Jarrar used tenure to defend her behavior, this private action is an issue of free speech and not related to her job or tenure,” he wrote.
“Therefore, the university does not have justification to support taking any disciplinary action. Professor Jarrar will remain on leave through the Spring semester, which she had previously requested before this incident,” Castro wrote.
As CNSNews.com previously reported [1], Jarrar called Mrs. Bush a racist who “raised a war criminal” and said she couldn’t wait for the rest of the family “to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have.”
“Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F*** outta here with your nice words,” Jarrar tweeted.
“PSA: either you are against these pieces of s--- and their genocidal ways or you're part of the problem. That’s actually how simple this is. I'm happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have,” Jarrar said in another tweet.

Now if he used a racially derrogative term toward a protected class he would have been fired. But... the left will stand behind this and secretly endorse the behavior.
Of course they would provide cover. But.........a real administrator would be against using title as a shield to protect against conduct unbecoming of the school or its staff and appropriately and necessarily fire her.
Now I wonder if a Milo or Ben Shapiro should demand that they get equal, free speech time WITHOUT having to fear for their personal safety and if this clown would promote the same mindset?

Exactly, Someone will tape her doing something stupid, she will be followed around by people just waiting for the right time to catch her screwing up.
