Good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So long, Cali!
Write if you find work.
California would go broke in 3 days
Excellent point. Also, if California secedes will they still want federal money or could they make it on their own?
Excellent question. I’d follow that up with, “Once Trump leaves office in 2024, is CA going to be asking for re-admittance to the union?”
Of course it should be required that the residents choose between being citizens of California or the USA. IF they choose California they are no longer US citizens.
Where can I send my contribution?
Erring sisters, depart in peace.
What a very bad idea. Furthermore, any areas outside of SF, LA, and a few other coastal towns, the rest of the state would not break off.
The only “Calexit” I want to see is that one in which a magnitude 14 quake completely rips the communist sh*thole from the North American continent, and then sinks it to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.
California’s plan is to exit the USA, setup their own country, declare war on the USA, surrender...and be subsidized by Uncle Sam.
China will buy it and we will have a foreign army on our soil. Send in the troops now to remove Jerry and his crew.
Didn’t the south try this a number of years ago. That didn’t go well.
Jerry Brown for Security General \o/
YES!!!!!!! But by county option only, and Mexifornia becomes a protectorate of the USA.
Mexicans have colonized CA and do not intend to give it back.
Wasn’t the problem with secession dealt with by Salmon P. Chase in a SCOTUS ruling about Texas back in 1869?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_v._White
In accepting original jurisdiction, the court ruled that, legally speaking, Texas had remained a United States state ever since it first joined the Union, despite its joining the Confederate States of America and its being under military rule at the time of the decision in the case.
****In deciding the merits of the bond issue, the court further held that the Constitution did not permit states to unilaterally secede from the United States, and that the ordinances of secession, and all the acts of the legislatures within seceding states intended to give effect to such ordinances, were “absolutely null”.[2]****
Something tells me they will angle for a deal to keep those votes, yet not have to pay into a Trump tax coffer.
How can I help? Is there also a parallel effort #CALGONE underway to expel them from the USA?
