The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump.
The complaint, filed in federal district court in Manhattan, alleges that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating stolen material found there.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trumps campaign, DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.
This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency, he said.

Depose Hilary, Podesta, many others.
DNC and Perez need a new Whaaaaaaaaambulance.
They are doing this while they still own the judiciary.
Interesting.
That suggests the Mueller investigation may not be going the way they want, or that they no longer have confidence there will be enough dems to vote on Impeachment next year.
It is high time we the people go scorched earth on these poor excuses of Americans. Let the battle begin.
The Rules of Civil Procedure will practically force a Counterclaim & Crossclaims.
There are two points of keeping the Russian narritive in the news. One is to keep the Democrat base energized and engaged. I have a few die hard Democrats in my family and they really believe the Russians got Trump elected. They believe the Steele dossier is true. They really believe every Trump voter is neo-Nazi white supremeist (yes, they have accused me of this). They are pumped up to go out and vote for every Democrat on the ballot in November to stick it Trump and his voters.
The second reason is the Russian narritive has been somewhat effective in swaying the non political and low info voters against Trump. I firmly beleive the Russia narritive is what is keeping Trump for getting approval ratings above 40%
How any educated, freedom loving person can stand with the Dems is beyond belief.
File this under the ‘Nuts’ bookmark
Good. Now Trump’s attorneys should send a preservation notice for DNCs hard drives. You know, because no one has actually ever seen them.
Countersue for 100 Billion Dollars: Seditious plot to overthrow the duly elected POTUS. Name everyone. All who voted for Trump are class action victims.
So, what, this is the opening salvo for I’m With Her 2020? ‘Cause aside from liberals rolling their eyes over this publicity stunt, I don’t see any gain and a whole mile of liability for this move.
Talk about making yourself wide open for line and slander suits...
... It’s all about the mid term and 2020 campaigns .... They know this is going to be wrapped up soon so they are forced to keep this stuff alive because their whole campaigns and fundraising are based on the Trump Russia Collusion crap.
Nothing, Trump or the RNC should sue back for harassment. Actually I would love to see a class action lawsuit filed in behalf of half the population against the Democratic.party for trying to subvert an election outcome and denying the will of the people.
No it isn't. Drudge has lost his edge. I'm surprised he doesn't have a live feed of the market drop today along with the current temperature reading of Stormy's ass. His headliners and brand are suffering IMO. Free Republic is a way better news reader than Drudge now.
"In the run-up to the 2016 election, Russia mounted a brazen attack on American Democracy. The opening salvo was an attack on the DNC, carried out on American soil."
"In 2015 and 2016, Russian intelligence services hacked into the DNC's computers, penetrated its phone systems and exfiltrated tens of thousands of documents and emails," the suit says.
To the genius on here who, just last week, was telling everyone on FR that Roger Stone was a Russian agent....did you read the lawsuit?
