Bet that she just got the surprise of her....afterlife. I pray that she truly found Jesus before He found her.

An absolute stunner. I remember the cruelty of the media when her husband was President; jokes about her being his mom and so forth.
RIP Barbara.

When my mother was being evaluated for dementia they asked her who the president of the United States was.
She answered: I don’t remember but I sure do like his wife Barbara Bush. We wrote the First Lady and told her the story. She sent mother the sweetest hand written note and picture which mom kept with her family pictures next to her bed.
Always appreciate this kindness and her caring heart. Never had much for GHWB (only time I skipped an election) but BB was a good egg

You have to see anyone’s life in full context. She was a dignified and classy lady, and no doubt meant the world to her family.
RIP, and God bless her family as they deal with this loss.

Trump may have finished political dynasties as we know it in this country, lets just hope we dont get King George IV on the right as payback.

May she RIP. However, I am done with the Bush family. They have shown that they are the swamp and put BUSH before USA.

RIP. She was a good lady.
She was key to stabilizing the White House in the 1990s—the second decade of the coo-koo counter-culture revolution.

That picture was taken January 6, 1945. World War II was still raging, space travel was still the stuff of science fiction and nobody (or very few) had a television set.
The world of 1945 would be utterly unrecognizable to young people today. Just this afternoon, I was telling a millennial co-worker how when I started in the workforce, there were no cellphones, email or even computers.
Amazing to have had a marriage last through all those societal and historical changes.
prayers for the comforting of all of those who loved her.
I will miss her
with heartfelt respect and love...
