Three years ago, Starbucks was widely ridiculed for trying to start a national conversation on race relations by asking its employees to write the words "Race Together" on coffee cups. The initiative, though it backfired, was in line with the company's longstanding effort to project a progressive and inclusive image. The company is now through the looking glass, trying to tamp down a racially charged uproar over the arrest of two black men at one of its stores in Philadelphia. How could Starbucks, which once urged its employees to start conversations about race with customers, now be under fire for its treatment of black people?

I own an office building next door to a Starbucks. Their on-site managers are Mensas when you compare them to their district manager. From my experience, the farther up the management chain you go, the dumber they become.
Just a guess, but the store manager’s compensation most likely depends upon the profits generated by his store.
Allowing people (of any color) to hang out and use the restrooms, and not buy anything, does not generate any profit.
We need to mock them mercilessly...
Maybe get the most burly guy you know to dress up like corpral clinger in a sunday dress, drop by mcDonalds and get a mc Cafe covfefe, then go into a starbucks and not order anything and demand to use the restroom.
When denied start accusing them of “transphobia”, saying that you have to pay for hormones and those are so expensive that you can only afford McDonalds covfefe not the over priced starbucks covfefe.
Have someone else come in earlier to “record it all on a cell phone”....
I would love to see two crazy unhinged leftist groups attack starbucks at the same time...

Yup....I get a 2 pound tin of coffee from Aldi’s for something like $6. It’s very good too.
I had the opposite experience in Kansas. The home office execs were pretty sharp. The local yokels they put into management, other end of the spectrum.
It was NOT a Starbuck’s BTW. Haven’t been inside one in a long, long time.
In fact, purposely moved a friendly meeting with someone from church (in Texas) simply to not give them any $$$$.

Starbucks will shut down many stores in an attempt to bring training its employees. Whether this will be helpful or more harmful is yet to be known since by doing this they do not seem to be standing by their employee who was, from her end, doing what she perceived best to protect their store and abide by company policy regarding loitering from two men who refused to abide by what an employee was telling them to do and who refused to listen to the police who politely asked these men to leave more than once.
BLACK FOLK: It is your turn to do what you can to push the important concept that black families must train their families beginning with young children how to act respectfully and not talk back to police, how to leave respectfully when asked to leave a business if not abiding by that companies policies. If black folk refuse to stand up against black people who are rude, belligerent, and rule breakers, defiant race relations will not improve but worsen.
Just as Rosa Parks actions started a peaceful protest leading to blacks not riding busses until there was equity on those busses, people of all races who have had enough of this belligerent, defiant behavior from those of the black race who are defiant and uncooperative, could start a peaceful protest: Stop frequenting black businesses, and do not go to their movies or concerts. Protest until blacks themselves stand up against this madness.
Protest with this peaceful protest until blacks begin to rightfully call out blacks who deserve to be called out and reprimanded. These belligerent blacks give a bad image to their race which is a shame because of the many law abiding, cooperative, respectable blacks.
When blacks begin taking a stand against this deliberate law breaking spirit of their black brothers, then the peaceful protesters will begin frequenting black businesses again. Hit them in their pocketbooks.
I have no respect for these black men who did this.
They are causing the black people who are respectable harm by their horrible attitudes and belligerence.
Starbucks always allows white people to sit there as long as the want without buying anything. The only reason the employee called the police is because the employee is racist.
