The Great One has spoken.
Wrong. Read Gorsuch’s opinion. It is spot on.
If the statute is unconstitutionally vague, its subject matter is irrelevant.
I concur - as much as I dislike the outcome I prefer the rule of law and a proper reading of such.
Again, with that Roberts had been consistent with his reasoning regarding Obamacare.
What’s this thread about?
McConnell: Welcome to the team.
So, any constitutionally vague statute is unconstitutional, no matter what its governing subject is.
Is that what you mean?
It is spot on and the law must be re-written. And it will.
Unbelievable
I think this one was a good decision. Laws should not be ambiguous. Ambiguous laws drive me nuts.
Indeed, Justice Scalia would have voted the same way.
Oh you mean Mark “who never questioned Obama’s birth cert” Levin.
I stopped listening to him 9 years ago.
Plus He was a never Trumper even after the convention..
When it’s rewritten, then we’ll see who votes for and against. If he continues to vote against the US, then we’ll know another of Trump’s appointees is a traitor.
So because a decision he sided on isn’t to your liking, your retard character assinaation somehow has “merit”?
Like what idiot here ever expects a SCOTUS judge to vote 100% the way they want all the damn time?
It’s like conservatism attracts insufferable perfectionists that would rather blow their head off rather than suffer the indignity of disagreement.
Why isn’t the left filled with the level of stupid WE attract?
Gorsuch didn’t side the way some people wanted on this issue, so he is now an evil SOB that should never have been on the court......because something or other.
Because a radio bloviator knows more than a SCOTUS justice?
I. Don’t. Think. So.
Remember Gorsuch is a textualist, like Scalia. If he agreed it was too vague, that’s good enough for me.
Now, rewrite the damn thing and implement a replacement law pronto!
