Breast feeding seems reasonable. Next thing they will want is a changing table at their desk. Most representatives won’t object since the representatives are quite use to the smell.

Children as political props.
Virtue signalling at its most base level.
If Duckworths poll numbers go up democrats will be raiding the abortion clinics to get themselves a new born baby to haul into congress.

This is a job, not a social gathering. The child belongs at home or at daycare.

How many hours a month do senators actually spend in chamber?
Seems to me they are mostly on recess, a shortened work week, etc., taking a break, etc.
Yes, I see why know senator would want to vote against the resolution, but really.
To: Libloather
Duckworth (D-Ill.) told the website before her daughter was born that new mothers couldnt be away from their infant in the first three months for that long.

Just like any other liberal, it’s ME FIRST.
Why do WE have to accommodate HER wishes and have the Senate disrupted by a newborn? She should take some time off or resign the job if she can’t do it.

One of things I do to quiet crying babies is to tell them “you think YOU have reasons to cry? Wait until you have to pay taxes!”. This might be the only place where that joke won’t get a laugh.

new mothers couldnt be away from their infant in the first three months for that long Family Leave act.
This Senator needs to remove herself (and her baby) from the senate for three months then.

So now we will see this elsewhere? A woman working on an oil rig will have to be allowed to carry he baby in a backpack on shift? Just kidding, there are no women working on oil rigs, for some reason that particular glass ceiling hasn’t been challenged yet!

With the damage the commie ‘RATS have already done to “congress”, I don’t see how another miniature, crying and screaming ‘RAT is going to hurt anything.
