Subtitle: Liberals cant stand the success of a Christian-run company selling folks fried chicken sandwiches successfully with a smile.
Last month, Chick-fil-A opened its fourth franchise in Manhattan. Even though customers seem thrilled and the company appears to be thriving, some on the Left arent happy. On Friday, the New Yorker published a story with a headline only they could love: Chick-fil-As Creepy Infiltration of New York City. Not to be outdone, they tweeted an even worse headline, pulled directly from the article.

It’s obvious nobody in authority has ever seriously read the Bible. If they had, they’d have realized that there’s no future in badmouthing God, His Son, or His people. DUMB! And if they’re of Hebrew extraction, that’s REALLY dumb.
I have never had anyone, employee or customer, at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant preach, proseletyze or even speak to me about Christianity - or any other religion for that matter. Chick-Fil-A simply provides good fast-food at a decent price served by clean and polite employees.
Thus, I will issue what is becoming my standard reply to the left's ignorant, hateful, intolerant, accusations: Provide specific examples or STFU.
Though he is ostensibly writing for the “Annals of Gastronomy”, it goes without saying that he didn’t deign to eat there in order to answer imaginary “questions about what we expect from our fast food.”
It’s election season. These articles are to rile up their base.
Expect more of the same.
To paraphrase the old maxim, you might care about hateful liberals, but hateful liberals care about you. It's worthwhile to know the thoughts of those who want us run out of society, imprisoned, impoverished, or dead.
Contrary to liberal wisdom. The overwhelming majority of Americans know both the truth and the Left's lies.
I don’t detect an overwhelming Christian “ethos” at CFA either, unless being nice and kind is somehow exclusively “Christian.” Even their music played is understated and non-sectarian, as far as I can tell.
Regardless, it’s their right if they want to be a little more upfront about their Christian beliefs.
....Or in rebellion.
Oh they don’t want us in rebellion. :-)
Imagine another writer saying that the local opening of a Muslim- or Jewish-owned restaurant represented an infiltration of their beliefs? Or tearing apart their advertising slogans, of all things?
Great post fwdude...
They do, trust me, they do.
We’re living in a Romans 1:18-32 era.
The NRA roster and gun sales also skyrocket every time the commie left opens their mouth about a shooting. Hmmmmm
Best damned chicken sandwich on the planet! Period!
Hes right..this New Yorker piece was absolutely unhinged. The writer was spewing a hatred of Christians (although I doubt that he even knows one) that was so over the top that its hard for me to see how a sensible editor could allow its publication. But New Yorker editors are probably picked on the basis of being crazy as loons, since this formerly entertaining and sophisticated magazine that published many of our best short story writers - many years ago - has turned into nothing but a soapbox where the hate-filled, untalented victim left (gays, etc.) can stand and shriek.
When he got into the part where he was railing against the sinister Cows, I felt that wed gone into total Bellevue ER on a full moon mode.
If there is so much outrage about Chick Fil A, a huge market, etc why dont liberals start their own homosexual themed chicken fast food place??
How popular would the place be with a name like: “Dick-Fil-A”???
“Dick-fil-A”: a thick, hot, meaty wiener, thrust between two firm, warm, eager buns, festooned with a generous squirt of special sauce.
Get this statement in one of his final paragraphs:
“Its arrival in the city augurs worse than a load of manure on the F train.”
That’s rich, coming from a homo who probably wallows in human manure most nights of the week.
We finally had a Chick-fil-A open in Rochester, NY, last week. It was mobbed with lines of cars and people. My grand nephew is in high school and he got a job there. I hear it’s a good place to work for and I told him he’ll always have Sundays off!
Here is a little secret. In and Out Burger prints Bible Citations on their Drink Cups and Food Wrappers.
They have been doing it for Decades.
Send in the Hounds!
I'm sure Chick-Fil-A are big boys. This isn't their first rodeo defending themselves against an enemy like liberals.
One thing The New Yorker magazine hatred will not do is turn their customers against them. Their customers love the place.
The only reason The New Yorker writes this trash is to flash their liberal, anti-Christian bonafides to their own liberal readership. The article is not directed at "us".
One of the reasons I live outside the metropolitan areas of this country is to avoid liberals. I live in rural Florida. Not many liberals around these parts.
So again, why should I care what The New Yorker thinks of Chick-Fil-A in NYC? I shouldn't. Waste of time.
