14 months in, I’m somewhat disappointed in Trump. Actions simply not living up to the promises.

Trump will now do Obama’s dirty work for him. Just like the omnibus budget that Trump signed - it funds all of Obama’s wish list, with increases for inflation.
The two most likely possibilities, as I see it:
1. Trump has already worked this all out with Putin, and any air strikes will just be Kabuki theater.
2. Trump has succumbed to the lure of being a “war president.”

Supposedly the British base in Cyprus will be used as part of the attack. If that is accurate, I trust Cyprus has thought it through. It will be very easy for Russia to attack that base.

There are, within the last 2 hours, Navy P-8A surveillance & recon aircraft on a rotating patrol over the E Med.
They are a 737 variant with added wideband satellite communication capability. It has enhanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Anti-surface Warfare (ASuW) capabilities and expanded electronics for partner coordination.
We’ve definately got our eyes and ears open.
