Paul Nehlen, a white nationalist who lost handily to Ryan in the 2016 GOP primary

How will we tell the difference?
You won't, except on straight party votes, in which case the vote will now go the way of D, not R.

It’s Ryan’s bipartisanship.

Ryan leaving may cost his own seat but will inspire a dozen more seats to be won by the Republicans.

They need to move it towards Republican because a real one will get elected this time.

“The first district is a swing district that leans Republican.”
Paul Nehlen is NOT the guy for the job, but historically, because little of District 1 is in Milwaukee County, it leans Republican, however 0bama won the district by 2 points in 2008.

Headline is deliberately misleading. Going from safe to leans GOP means it has moved to the Dems? Not true. Even if called a toss-up by the Dem stooge Larry Sabato in Virginia, that does not mean it has moved to the Dems.
Given there was disagreement among pollsters of how much the odds had changed for the seat, even a headline that says the seat moves to a toss-up would have been blatantly biased.
