On Monday, talk radio host Mark Levin called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to step down.
Levin said, I want to make a point here and it will destroy a 30-year friendship. Itll destroy it. But I really do think its time for the attorney general to step aside. Its time for the attorney general to step aside.
He added, [T]he buck stops on the attorney generals desk, even if he recused himself, as he did, on the Russia matter, this is not the Russia matter. And the entire departments out of control now.

I finally decided even the talk radio people are a bunch of hacks.
I don’t listen to them anymore.
That may account for Trump's obvious anger, frustration and scathing rebuke of Sessions on national tv; it being an attempt to shame Sessions into resigning. Certainly, there is no reason now to believe Trump and Sessions were ever a tag-team.
Smart money would bet Sessions is in a very tight vise. Worse for our country, Trump may also be in a very tight vise with very few options.
You’re right. They’re there to sell crap to us and rake in millions of dollars by faking us out into thinking they’re as pissed off at all this as we are.
I was a charter member of his Web TV venture and dropped it when he became so anti Trump I couldn't stand him. He was a never Trumper for sure even after he decided to support him. I had listened to Mark for years through his podcast.
His Sunday Show on FOX is great, he had Palin on last week and hasn't raised his voice once since he started the Sunday show. He uses his own underground bunker to televise it, not a FOX studio.
I take the President at his word =>
The attorney general made a terrible mistake when he did this and when recused himself or he certainly should have let us know if he was going to recuse himself and we would have put a different attorney general in, Trump told reporters.

In light of that, it is fair to ask who you side with, President Trump or Jeff Sessions.
It is long past time! Sessions should be fired, NOW! And when congress won’t vote for approval of the Presidents next choice, he should make a recess appointment. It is time to take off the gloves and stop the Swamp’s soft coup attempt.
Hmm, check your facts, Congress is now in Recess!
“Was he a poor choice made by Trump or was he a swamp creature from the deepest depths?”
Actually he is both!
Absolutely. Sessions had this planned way back before he endorsed. Leprechauns play chess, too.
“Worse for our country, Trump may also be in a very tight vise with very few options.”
He could fire the lot of them and dare his opponents to do something about it. Personally, I think Trump would relish the opportunity for a showdown.
Not really.
If you still back Sessions, yer deep state yerself.
Yes it was. Sessions can be a fool or a collaborator the result is the same.
If this President fails then the Republic is no more and that will fall directly at the feet of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions. Sorry tripleE but that is a truth.
Think what the average age of Freepers must be, then you have your answer. We allowed Janet Reno to kill the children at Waco (to protect the children) and did nothing. Which politician ran for President that used Waco as a campaign issue?
Sure...except that our 'GOP" Senate Majority Leader has made damned sure the Senate is NEVER in recess.
Sooner or later the people of this country are going to have to do something about the blatant lawlessness running rampant in OUR capital.
The way Sessions has been acting (or non-acting), this loss of a friendship should really be no biggie for Levin.
I usually listen to Christian radio nowadays. At least they tell The Truth.
I listen to Levin every day, and have for many years. You need to learn what a Never Trumper is, then you couldn’t claim that Levin ever was one or that he was one even after endorsing and supporting him. That is impossible.
The issue of the moment is that he says Sessions must go, and they were friends for 3 decades, but no longer.
