The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.” Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels. Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling. The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

Sessions started out with a lot of goodwill among Trump voters and Republicans. Chris and Rudy had a lot less and would have lost what they had early on.
You may be right. Sitting out here with no “insider” information it is literally impossible for any of us to credibly opine as to what SHOULD be done by the President.
We have to trust the instincts and judgment of the man we elected. And keep the sniping against him to a minimum.
And pray for him too. That’s a definite. Virtually everyone in DC is out to get him (and its a disgrace that this includes many members of his own party). This is a REAL anti-Constitutional coup-in-the-making. The people participating in this no longer have any allegiance to the Rule of Law or the Constitution. They are ALL in violation of their oaths of office as I see it.
The only way seizure of privileged atty-client communications can be legally justified is if the attorney himself was part of some criminal enterprise - and even then its highly limited. (I am no longer up to date on the law in this area, but if you folks wanted to see a “crossing of THE line”, brother, let me tell you, this is IT.)
Another thing - this president will not be doing anything rash. Contrary to the left’s hallucinations about him, he never does anything rash. He’ll get the best advice, look at his options, and trust his gut.
The FBI conducted the raid. There's no better place than Trump's attorney's office for another Peter Strzok to plant incriminating false documents.
For some reason I keep recalling that Alan Dershowitz said that this investigation should have been conducted by a non-partisan commission.

Nothing to worry about here....they did the same thing when hillary’s attorney, Vince Foster, “committed suicide”......OOPS, I forgot, hillary made sure all his files were sanitized before investigators were allowed in.
If Mueller is not stopped here and now, he will use the same tactics on Don Jr or Ivanka.
