The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.” Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels. Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling. The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

To me the popular vote count should never include illegals, dead people, felons, and Dems voting more than once, and that's the ONLY way you get more people supposedly voting for Clinton. I've never believed she got more of the popular vote.

If enough conservatives stay home for this mid-term election because their candidate is not conservative enough for them, there aren't enough "independents" or "blue dog" dems to vote in enough (R)'s to control Congress.
This is why this mueller "investigation" has zero limits. The swamp see's the Trump/MAGA presidency as a mere 2 year temporary bump in the road.

If it did come out of his funds, and Cohen was - in fact - operating without letting Trump know what he was doing, and Trump is a party to the NDA with Daniels, then Cohen faces disbarment. Possibly criminal charges as well, in New York, I’m not sure.

Trump was impeached because he lied under oath. Clinton denied under oath that he had engaged in sexual relations with Lewinsky. That testimony led Starr to accuse the president of perjury and obstruction of justice, which in turn prompted his grand jury appearance.
When Clinton testified, he knew Lewinsky was talking to Starr’s prosecutors, and he knew his DNA could match a semen stain on her blue dress. Faced with those facts, the president could have invoked the Fifth Amendment, refusing to incriminate himself before the grand jury. Instead, according to Starr, he continued to lie.
Starr’s subsequent voluminous report to Congress led to a move by the Republican-led House to impeach Clinton on charges of obstruction of justice. It accused the president of having provided “perjurious, false and misleading testimony” to the grand jury.
The Paula Jones case precipitated Clinton's impeachment in the House of Representatives and the subsequent acquittal by the Senate on February 12, 1999. Specifically, Clinton was asked under oath about Monica Lewinsky in the Jones suit, denied having ever had sexual relations with her, and was accused of perjury after evidence of sexual contact was exposed. The Jones lawsuit also led to a landmark legal precedent by the U.S. Supreme Court which ruled that a sitting U.S. president is not exempt from civil litigation for acts committed outside of public office.
Jones's suit was dismissed as lacking legal merit prior to Clinton's impeachment and the exposure of the Lewinsky affair. But in August 1998 Clinton's relationship with Lewinsky, and compelling evidence that he had lied about it under oath in the Jones suit, was brought to light. At that point Jones appealed the ruling, and her appeal gained traction following Clinton's admission to having an affair with Monica Lewinsky in August 1998.
On appeal, Clinton agreed to an out-of-court settlement, paying Jones and her lawyers $850,000 to drop the suit; the vast majority of this money was used to pay Jones's legal fees. Clinton's lawyer said that the President made the settlement only so he could end the lawsuit for good and move on with his life. Jones and her lawyers have said the payment is evidence of Clinton's guilt.
Jones continues to maintain that Clinton sexually harassed her. Clinton continues to deny it.

Yes, corrupt for the last century. Unfortunately, I and many others never saw it exposed until the last year and a few months. I served this country for 24 years in the military and I now regret giving a day of service to the cabal that existed the whole time I was in. 24 years wasted, while I thought I was being a patriot.

Scott Adams just said on his Periscope that he is so outraged at the level this has (over)reached that he supports and is calling for the President to:
“fire everybody .. Mueller, Rosenstein, Sessions .. anybody who has his fingerprints on this...this is an attack on the people who elected this president...I don’t care about the consequences...”
For the normally oh-so-cautious Scott Adams, this is quite a departure ... he also made the point that this was Mueller crossing “the line” ...
Looks like the domestic enemies of our nation want to push this come hell or high water ...
