The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.” Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels. Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling. The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

Well we don’t know anything about what may or may not be in said “files” and computers. There may or may not be anything bad.... although once leaks start there can always be something “embarrassing” even if nothing illegal. And, of course, Mueller & co. want to set and spring perjury traps on everyone, where if you state even the most innocuous detail incorrectly (compared to something in an email, document, etc.) they will charge perjury.
No. You’ll just sit there and clap as Mueller plays games because Trump is afraid to fire him. That’s a winning strategy. We’re on the verge of a civil war and you think it’s still time to play by DC rules.
The time has come for the military to act against domestic enemies.
The entire top echelon of the DoJ and FBI up to and including Sessions should wake up tomorrow morning behind bars.
This search will be authorized by Deputy AG Rosenberg whenever he gets around to it.

Mark Levin just asked/called for Sessions to step down. It broke his heart to say it.
I suppose people in Nazi Germany also denied the reality that was upon them.
Who’s going to vote to impeach him? All those Republicans would have to go home to their districts and explain why they impeached a President without cause.
I expect it won't be long before a judge lectures Mueller on the fruit from the poison tree.
Mueller is either a fool are trying to figure out a way to get himself fired for cause as a political stunt. Either way I hope he first gets disbarred, then sent to jail.

Mueller will never issue a ‘Target’ letter on Trump. Mueller is operating under the DOJ opinion that a sitting President cannot be indicted. Being a ‘Target’ has a very specific meaning under DOJ procedure and implies imminent criminal charges.
Since Mueller will never make Trump a target, he will remain a subject right up to the moment Mueller issues his report. The whole ‘subject’ v. ‘target’ thing was something reported by WaPo, who got it from Trump’s lawyers, who heard it from Mueller, so we have no idea exactly how this information was delivered.
My gut tells me it’s both a truthful answer to a question from Trump’s lawyers, and a gambit to make Trump feel more comfortable and more likely to sit down and talk to Mueller.
Sessions is a coward.
I wonder how many would survive the trip home and back again.
His Democrat opponent was George McGovern, who was on the left wing of his party. The crippling of George Wallace in an assassination attempt prevented a third party challenge in 1972. Basically, Nixon got his own base plus the Wallace vote. There were also some moderate Democrats alienated by McGovern’s extreme liberalism.
Sessions will discover that backstabbers have a shelf life. His usefulness to the Deep State will not be indefinite. They will retire him as soon as it’s expedient.
I doubt we'll ever see an IG report but if we do, it won't be favorable to Trump...Obviously the corruption goes deep and wide...
