Atlanta (CNN)There were no signs of foul play in the death of a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention epidemiologist who likely drowned, officials said Thursday.
The remains of Timothy Cunningham were discovered Tuesday in the Chattahoochee River in northwest Atlanta, police spokesman Carlos Campos said. Cunningham, 35, was last seen on February 12.

What a tragic accident...
A troubled person committed suicide.
In other news, CNN reports that FBI whistleblower was found with 50 stab wounds in his body with a message “ snitches take stitches” carved on to his chest. There is no sign of Foul Play however.
Did he have any connection to the Clintons?
Well... they wrapped that one up pretty quick didn’t they?
He may have had a heart attack. He seemed a bit large.................
One of the warning signs of an oncoming heart attack is nausea for no apparent reason. He complained of being sick, may have taken a walk by the river ‘for some fresh air’ and collapsed.................
I’m guessing they came to this conclusion even before they killed him.
At no point in history has any government ever wanted its people to be defenseless for any good reason ~ nully's son
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
I never knew that.
Noting, just to keep in mind. Thanks.
The river is reported to be 100 miles from where he left his car. That’s some walk.
Rivers are a convenient place to dump a body. Its hard to find where the body went into the water. The water cools the body temperature, obscuring the time of death. It hastens decomposition so evidence like fingerprints are much more difficult to retrieve from the body.
A reasonable speculation.
The long walk makes the heart attack hypothesis all the more plausible.
As a member of the Uniformed Services, CDR Cunningham should have been acknowledged as such in the article.
And whoever the police talked to that said CDR Cunningham had been passed over for promotion had no clue what he/she was talking about since he had received an early promotion and it would be a long time before he would be eligible to be promoted again.
Think, float..........................
“Uh...they told me to uh...to say that they were sorry, but that you had become...unreliable.”
You have been watching “Forensic Files” haven’t you?
Must be crack team of investigators. They should be assigned to investigate the Seth Rich murder.
A picture of the guy would answer a lot of questions for readers.
He was an affirmative action hire, and more than likely in over his head at work.
