I’d inform all of them to get back to fire or they would be fired, period, end of story.
So, the little ones are safe from indoctrination for a small period of time?
I DO appreciate what teachers go through these days. Bu tI have been waiting for someone to point out that they only work 9 months of the year. And get every school break in those nine months, too. Flame away, Freeper teachers.
Seems that both problems are caused by having no immigration control.
“...had to get an override on his schedule because his Spanish class was too full”
So.... is spanish the only FOREIGN language at that school???
Here’s an English grammar lesson:
“Union” is an adjectival modifier for the noun word “thug”.
My daughter is home again, for 3rd day of Walk Out - beginning to think were learning more at home with our new teacher - Google ! Makes learning so easy, no overhead, and can do in pajamas !
Get rid of the illegal aliens and the classrooms won’t be so crowded.
Ending bi-lingual education frees up more money to use for US students.
How much better would they do if all illegal aliens were booted out of the state?
The REAL reasons ...
1. Were no Snow Days, so burning a few
2. Power Grabbing talking points to appeal to uninformed for Upcoming Governor race
Sorry, I am not buying the claim that they can’t afford a thirty dollar plastic desk-chair.
“Stack ‘em deep, teach ‘em cheap.”
That was the caption on one of the signs a “teacher” was holding up.
Border’s closed, send em home, to the place they belong, Sinaloa or Chihuahua, border’s closed, send em home.

“My son in ninth grade had to get an override on his schedule because his Spanish class was too full he was student number 41 in the class. As a state, we have failed them.”
Well, good news is, if we get the wall built, he won’t need to learn Spanish to speak to his future overlords anymore.
Schools also got an extra $50 mil in general which was 20% of what they asked for. In the end they got over half of what they wanted up front.
IMHO they are taking too harsh of stance. They have to acknowledge what they got and plan another walkout for next year. They have lost my support. This looks a little fishy and more like revenge.
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH THE MONEY THEY’VE BEEN GIVEN?
It is the increasing layers of bureaucracy - administrators and assistant administrators and deputies and their countless secretaries and assistants and now you have to have bus assistants and crossing guards.
If there are 40 students per classroom, then that’s a failure of the school district. No school district should be “surprised” by the number of students coming into their buildings. The numbers are tracked and estimated, even years in advance. If your school district intentionally allowed the numbers to grow like that, without planning for more buildings, temporary classrooms, hiring more staff, etc... then it’s time to go to a new district. Clearly, there is no lack in the demand for teachers with half a brain, if the numbers are already this high.
I hate that administrators wont get rid of a bad teacher (provided they dont break laws or mistreat students) because there are no other teachers lining up to teach, Akins said to TheDCNF. “
Horse$hit! I’d bet every new teacher job opening would have 100 qualified applications instantly.
Public school teachers are a dime a dozen because ED is by far the easiest major based on the SAT scores.
There are some very good public school teachers, but on average they are the bottom of the barrel.
Liberals think the well is bottomless and there can always be more and more of everything and it’s all free!
When they want more of something (and they always do) the government should just give it to them and extort more money from others to pay for it.
Only a liberal would see it as a societal tragedy that there are budget restraints.
Liberals can’t accept the fact that the supply of everything they want isn’t infinite and immediately available to them.
They are aghast that there are a limited number of seats in a classroom and someone might have to wait until the next session to take a certain course.
In liberal La-La-Land the classrooms are like the expansion rooms on RV’s - you just roll the room out to make more space.
How do they handle a trip to the fair or to Disneyland where there actually is a finite number of seats on each ride?
Is it terribly old fashioned to think of making wise and sometimes difficult choices so a person or organization can live within a budget?
