Pope Francis is among those who did not learn history and so is destined to repeat it. That, or he is just another in a long line of papal antisemites. I think it’s the latter.

Not only did the Vatican help to norm and mainstream Hitler in the early 30’s, their work with Nazis carried on even after the war.
The Vatican assisted Nazi war criminals in escaping after World War II.

I have a hard time believing this pope follows in the sandals of St. Peter - “upon this rock I shall build my church”. Jesus got the rock part right...this pope is a brain-dead, rock-for-brains progressive that has promoted more damage and destruction toward the Catholic Church, while ignoring the teachings of Christ, than any other pope in modern history.
Most of the bad stuff said about the WWII era pope is Soviet disinformation. Since the current Pope is Soviet no lies are needed.

My dad had a newspaper clipping of the pope blessing Hitler. I don’t know when it was taken, though I would suspect before the war.
