Noor Salman, the wife of Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen, was declared not guilty on all counts Friday morning.
She faced charges of obstruction and providing material support to a terrorist organization.
A guilty verdict could have lead to life in prison.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys painted radically different pictures of Salman over the course of the trial -- on the one hand helping her husband prepare for the attack and on the other, an abused woman who "married a monster."

Having been jury foreman on a couple of cases, I can attest to what you say is true. The judge directed and polled the jury pool prior to selection that each potential juror was to decide guilt or innocence based upon the law as it currently was, not how they want it to be. A couple of jurors violated that until I reminded them repeatedly that they swore an oath attesting that they would follow the law as is, not should be. It takes at least one juror with conviction to keep the entire jury in focus.
Yeah, not holding my breath for that.

It was admitted in court that her father-in-law was a FBI informant. The Jury smelled a rat.

From what I heard, the case was weak and I’m not a fan of being tainted by relation to a criminal. The jury may have gotten this one right.
I was on a jury once where I was the lone hold out for finding the guy guilty...with no evidence. I looked at them and said...wth is wrong with you people! They said...we want to go home. Was a bunch of friggen teachers on the jury and I had seen one of them sleeping 2 or 3 times. Of course she was the one that requested transcripts...of the parts she slept through.
I was totally disgusted by the whole panel.
OJ Simpson is upset bc he had to pay so much more than the Muslim woman to get the same results.
I wonder how much the FBI status of her father in law had to do with this verdict?
She played the abused muslim wife ‘victim’ card. That simple..otherwise she would not be walking free of her charges.

For muslim women living in western countries it absolutely is because their courts do identify spousal abuse...muslim countries under Shariah law do not...and they have reason not to.. one has to understand the average muslim women is FAR from the western idea of a loving wife. They make nagging Western women look like angels by comparison.
