Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Is Going Rogue (George Conway)
HuffPost ^ | March 27, 2018 | Ashley Feinberg

Posted on 03/27/2018 9:27:20 AM PDT by EveningStar

George Conway, husband of presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway and onetime candidate to be U.S. solicitor general, has historically not been a very active Twitter user. He joined the site over six years ago and has since sent just a few more than 500 tweets, including retweets. About 200 of those 500 tweets, though, have come this month — and of those, nearly half were written with the express purpose of castigating his wife’s boss, President Donald Trump.

Something has gotten into Conway, who most famously worked for Paula Jones in her lawsuit against Bill Clinton. The corporate lawyer tweeted not a single thing in 2015 (or if he did, he’s since deleted all those messages). Same goes for 2016. In 2017, Conway tweeted 31 times, six of which could be considered critical of President Trump. Those six received quite a bit of press at the time, since his wife’s vaguely defined role consists largely of defending the president at all costs.

Yeah, you’re thinking of Kathy Giffords’ husband, former astronaut Mark Kelly.

The Huffers have nothing better to do than to count somebody else’s tweets?

Kathy Giffords?

Gabby. G-A-B-B-Y.

Maybe I'll get it right next time.

Yeah, you’re thinking of Kathy Griffin, maybe. Mark Kelly is Gabby Gifford’s husband.

This is all so confusing!!

;-)

That’s what I’m wondering. Hijacked.

If he barely used it before and now is tweeting 30 times a day then I think hijacking is the most logical explanation. Especially since it's embarrassing to the President.

Remember all the articles every time somebody’s relative shared something mildly negative about Obama?

Me neither.

...

Well, there is Obama’s half brother.

Sounds like a Mary Matalin - James Carville-type marriage.
Must be a hoot around the breakfast table in the morning....

If someone had asked me to compose a mental picture Kellyanne Conway's husband, that is NOT what I would have pictured.

In my mind, that guy maybe looks like the guy who ate Kellyanne Conway's husband...

You mean with the whole family having to fight him off so they can get something to eat?

Basically the both of them are swamp creatures. And the swamp is deathly afraid of President Trump. I remember when Kellyanne was working for Ted Cruz and was very "never Trump" at the time.

I do give her credit for joining the Trump team and doing a bang-up job. But deep down, she's a swamp creature just like her husband.

My fear is that when Trump leaves office (in either three or seven years), the swamp takes back over and it's the same-o same-o.

The movement needs to go beyond Trump. We all saw what happened when Reagan was replaced by George Bush. The Reagan revolution was undone and we went right back to establishment government. Clintons, Bushes, it's all the same to me.

We need to blow up the uniparty - take the best elements of the existing parties and form a "MAGA" party that will continue where Trump leaves off. This problem is not going to get fixed in four or eight years. We need decades to truly clean up the swamp.

Is this an imposter or Conway’s husband?

As a kid watching the early astronauts making their way into space, I remember NBC casting their sights on one astronaut's garage door. It was slightly open probably to let the cat in and out. But there was actually a discussion among the hosts whether or not the garage door would be opening anytime soon.

My mother said, "NBC stands for Nitpickers Broadcasting Company."
