A new documentary by CBS News reveals that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, who has become the face of the student body’s push for gun control, was not at the school at the time of the shooting.
The bombshell comes from David Hogg himself, who made the admission to a CBS News interviewer as part of the documentary “39 Days.”

At 4 minutes 55 sec. of video Hogg says:
DAVID HOGG: "On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and road as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting."

"After reviewing all of this, it appears that the problem was that CBS included a very confusing quote without context. Hogg was on campus during the shooting and returned several hours later to interview people across the street......"

Why would kids hang out with someone if they thought he was creepy.
Not taking up for this little dweeb, but you’d be surprised how many of these teens could care less about driving since they live online or gamers like my son was. We practically had to force him to driver’s ed.
Once he was in the Navy at 18, he learned to live real life, and ought his first car in Norfolk, a stick shift.
I saw this guy a while back. I doubt it is this Hogg, but there were some uncanny resemblances.

Maybe they didn’t care because they knew that he had already graduated from high school.
Remember, supposedly he is in some drama class. He could have made that up ahead of time because earlier in the day they has some kind of shooter drill prior to the real thing happening.
None of this smells right.

I agree with your post, but I will present this caveat. Hogg has powerful handlers, and if somebody actually tried to push him around (some claim he is being bullied for his stances), that antagonist might very well wind up dead in an alleyway somewhere. JMO.

He strikes me as pathological. In fact, he seems as unbalanced as Cruz, in a completely unrelated way. But really unconnected with anything but his ego.
Bad as he may be, the frightening part is that there appear to be no adults in his world who love him enough to put the brakes on him. He is being used and propped up by power-mad people with gun control and/or confiscation on their minds.
He’s whacked, but they are cruel.
