House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer rushed out to celebrate the $1.3 trillion Omnibus bill that passed Congress today.
The record spending bill funds all of the Democrat Partys pet projects and denies funding for Trumps border wall
Democrats loved it!
Chuck Schumer cheered the bill:
In a certain sense we were able to accomplish more in the minority than we had the presidency or were even in the majority.
Minority leader Nancy Pelosi added:
I think one of the reasons they rushed it through they didnt want their colleagues to see what was in the bill. It was a great day for Democrats. They get to blow more cash on the pet projects and illegal aliens and Trump does not get his border wall.
You can be sure the Democrat Congress WILL NEVER return the favor when they take over Congress next year.

FReepers everywhere who have Republican representation in House or Senate should (please) call or write to complain of the betrayal by Speaker Ryan and Leader McConnell. They needlessly gave Pelosie and Schumer everything they wanted. Republicans badly need new leadership in Congress.
Thanks EdnaMode.
Democrats pushed through ObamaCare when they had the majority. Schumer is just trying to separate Trump from his base.
Trump isn't dumb, I'm sure he knows what is going on.
I strive to oppose Democrat propaganda in order to help Trump.
Not a special council but a good’ol prosecutor and a grand jury:
Ryan, McConnel blow
GOP is horse crap.
No reason to vote GOP if this goes through.
Enough lies by the GOP
To hell with them.
I’m hoping some FR picks up on it and comes up with video or cartoon but the kids tag line should be “WHY DID THEY DO THIS TO ME ???
“I think one of the reasons they rushed it through they didnt want their colleagues to see what was in the bill.
Gee...you mean like Obama Care?
Let’s pass it first, then we
can act. Like this works.
This, sad to say, has become
the norm.
Trump is on the horns of a dilemma. He has to have the military buildup funding right away, which is why he will sign this bill. Trump is preparing for the inevitable eventuality that he will need to initiate a preemptive strike against North Korea in the very imminent future. (Hence his hiring of John Bolton as his National Security Advisor, his being a N. Korea policy hawk.) Trump must have that military funding in place, and thus he will not veto this bill.
Its all about priorities, and North Korea, with its immediate dangers, trumps (pardon the pun) all. Trump is practical and realistic and knows what his priorities must be. So be it.
“I wonder how many seats the Republicans will lose this next election.”
They’ll definitely lose the House, and there’s a pretty good chance they’ll lose the Senate. Trump is going to get impeached, and if enough GOP Senate Never-Trumpers go along with the farce, Trump will be convicted.
I’m 67. I am lucky to have lived when USA was still free, and was the unquestioned world power, and when Democrat lefties were a small and ineffective sideshow. That USA is gone.
If Sessions is our last, best hope we are REALLY screwed.
WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY AND HE IS OUR OWN PARTY
I do not blame President Trump at all for this betrayal.
It is clear that Trump cannot control the overall apparatus of the government.
It is too large and sprawling and too dead set against him.
Soros wins.
If POTUS signs this steaming pile of deficit spending, Ill lose what little hope I have left that our Republic will survive.
If POTUS signs this, the midterms will be a blood bath, and not in a good way. I’ve worked my ass off as a precinct delegate to get conservative republicans elected. Put my name and reputation on the line. If signed, I’m out. I’ll be out because it will truly not matter one spec.
Just heard that POTUS tweeted that he’s considering a VETO!
That would be like in the movie where the DALLAS came to the rescue of the RED OCTOBER at the very last moment. A spectacular move. I have doubts about Trump lately. I hope he pulls through.
Yeah it’s so stressful and a health hazard to follow politics daily. I’m also thinking of cutting back soon.
