"If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story." Orson Welles
Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something. The Princess Bride
Life is full of possibility and opportunity, but its also harsh and unforgiving. Yes, you can make a great life for yourself, but life is not a fairy tale; its not user-friendly and if youre not careful, it will remorselessly roll over you like a 10-ton steamroller.
Many of us, myself included, preach optimism, positive thinking and looking at the glass as half full. However, theres a difference between that and being a Pollyanna who looks at the world through rose-colored glasses. Too many people smash their heads against the wall over and over because they refuse to acknowledge reality and then, sadly, they finally just give up. Once you accept the uglier parts of life for what they are instead of sugar-coating them, youll go farther than you ever could have otherwise.

1 You’re gunna die.
2 You’re really gunna die.
3 You will eventually die.
4 Death is in your future.
5 Before you know it, you’ll be dead.
6 Dead, Dead, Dead.
7 Taxes.
8. We are so screwed.

From the movie Tombstone:
“There is no normal life Wyatt, it’s just life. Get on with it.”
John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Happiness is a choice
Deep down, whether they want to admit it or not, they know they will die and they are afraid of it more than anything else. And they don't want to die without emblazoning their names in the history books.
It's the only means of assuring what to them is the closest thing to immortality.
Hillary has lived her entire life with one ultimate goal: become the first woman President of the United States. It is all she has lived for. And she fell short.
"Sic transit gloria mundi."
Truth is truth
To the end of reckoning.
- William Shakespeare

The glass is half empty and it is evaporating at a high rate!
1. Nobody owes you a living, so shut up and get back to work.
2. You help People who CAN'T help themselves, not People who WON'T help themselves.
3. There will always be someone better off than you and there will always be someone worse off than you. That's Life.
4. Confucius say, short Note better than long memory. (not sure where I heard that one)
Wrong! I know the secret to life.
Unfortunately, I can not tell you what it is.
Because..it’s a secret.
Remember when Heath Ledger died? How about George Steinbrenner? John Ritter? Gary Coleman? David Carradine? All of them passed away in the last decade and despite the fact they were famous, if you knew they were dead at all, you probably havent thought of any of them unless they were in front of you on the screen.
So I guess the moral is:
8. TV can make you immortal.
1. The average person cares more about what he eats for lunch than whether you live or die
2. Life is not and will never be fair
3. Most people are shallow
4. The more comfortable you get, the worse your life is going to be
5. The world will judge you based on what it can get out of you
6. Nothing in life is permanent
7. When you die, only a few people will continue to think of you after youre gone
We don’t remember people for very long. But Art endures.
Shakespeare said it first:
Shall I compare thee to a summers day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summers lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or natures changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owst,
Nor shall death brag thou wandrest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to Time thou growst.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
James, while John had had “had”, had had “had had”; “had had” had had a better effect on the teacher.
I got a hot tip the other day.
Something about “42.”
Not sure what to do with it, though.
Well, once you have all your ducks in a row..ask yourself this question.
Why am I putting these ducks in a row?
